  1. I'm going to be mounting the middle of the front three on the inside of the rail because the other two are obstructed. so three up front, two up top and one back, all intake except the back one I assume? it's okay about the funny responses haha it's a ridiculous case
  2. live love laugh I am deceased hahahahaha well what do you think? how do I make the air flow on this bad boy as enticing as the aesthetics?
  3. I genuinely make sure it's off when I have people round, I'm starting to think RGB doesn't actually help me get laid ?
  4. I mean, that bottom left fan (if front is on the right side) is completely suffocated by the psu below and that top right and bottom right fan are just shouting at each other. confession: I have the 4 fan version of this and all the fans are intake (3 in front one in back) and through your roasting I can gauge how to airflow some added fans
  5. never mind I found the chassis fan pins. it's by the lithi battery still an retardo check your motherboard manual kids
  6. okay great I'm going to remount the fans first and then if it's still bad I'm going to change one into an exhaust and stick in two more intake thanks man, this forum is so much nicer than most
  7. oh that looks so simple. I never knew the fans could just be moved like that. I suppose it'll look a bit janky being behind the rail but it's not there for looks. That's really simple actually, thank you do you recommend the exhaust layout I mentioned after I move the fans?
  8. Without sounding too stupid... is the case rail the thing that the fans are mounted to? You were right about it not being exhaust, I took the side panel off and all four fans are intake fans. Meaning right now I have 3 intake fans in the front and one intake in the back and zero exhaust fans. Is the optimal solution to switch my back fan to an exhaust fan and putting in two more intake fans at the top for positive air pressure?
  9. This is my case, the kolink observatory. (branded as CIT raider) A case that's infamously average for airflow. Three front fans and one one in the back. anyway the three on the front; I assumed they are intake fans right but the bottom fan of the column is cool (as I imagine it should be) the middle is lukewarm and the top fan (highlighted in image) makes the glass in front of it stupid hot while gaming. If that's an intake fan why is that area getting so warm? Is it possible that's an exhaust fan? Anyway whatever the case would some top fans be the best solution for my average airflow? Thanks Sincerely, An retardo
  10. Why the rush? A 1070 can easily tide you over until the new GPU's
  11. ultimately it's what's worth more to you your $300-$400 getting you an extra 10-15% fps or 8-ish months worth of gaming. In other circumstances I might opt for the former but because covid and lockdown have presented me with more time to game I chose to go for the XT
  12. put down the pitchforks my fellow master race-ians. I'm not talking about when you peak with your AWP. I'm saying pick up a decent laptop with a windows precision driver touchpad and tell me it's uncomfortable. I obsess over desk ergonomics and I have the appropriate desk height and arm "L" shape and no history of wrist issues and I can still feel that there's more strain on my wrist than there is when I'm handling a trackpad. For things like web browsing and schoolwork that lack of accuracy is dwarfed by the increase in comfort and if you've never used the gestures they're fantastic I can't be the only one who feels this way then again I might be because finding a quality reasonably priced windows touchpad is impossible
  13. If those three were my options I'd say the 1660 S justifies itself. (had one myself) 60 dollars is the difference of like 1 or 2 games and better performance in EVERY game is worth more than that
  14. What temperature range is good for a motherboard?
  15. You know that Nvidia supports Freesync monitors now right? You don't need a G-sync listed monitor to use G-sync This reply was made by Nvidia + Freesync monitor gang
