I'm new here, and I want to say hi

It's perfectly fine to turn off your phone at night. It clears the RAM, cools the CPU, and the phone is disconnected from cell towers and wifi, so there is no danger of radioactivity if you keep your phone near you in bed, and best of all, at least you won't get annoying notifications to disrupt your sleep : )

For an old core i7, I would say try a gtx 1060, and if you are overclocking, you could go up to gtx 1070, but if you aren't overclocking, use a 1060. 
 

If you're not going to seriously be overclocking, your stock cooler is more than good enough. If you're going to be doing overclocking, get an aftermarket cooler. I'm assuming you're using the CPU as is, and not overclocking it, so the stock cooler is more than good enough. Also, get the ryzen 5 3600. The x at the end of the number is just a marketing technique. The 3600 is cheaper, and performs just as well as the 3600x. just get the 3600, it will perform just as good as the 3600x, and is cheaper, 

Yes definitely replace the battery. I dont think changing the port it that necessary, but if the replacement is cheap enough then go ahead.
