I'd recently bought a used Lenovo Legion 5 Pro, but it still has almost two years Lenovo Premium Care, which I'd recently made used of by getting them to send a technician to help out with high CPU and GPU temps. Though it was about a year old, I'd say it exceeded all my expectations, it handles games at 2560x1600 just fine, even took on Metro Exodus PC Enhanced without a problem. Specs-wise, it comes with an AMD Ryzen R7 5800H + 2x 8GB DDR4 3200MHz + 8Gb RTX 3070. I'm expecting this badboy to last me a minimum of 3 years of great gaming experience.

You're completely misunderstanding what some random person on Twitter said.

That person on Twitter replying to the LTT post is claiming they have access to 4x 3060ti's in the EU and is trying to sell them to people reading the LTT Twitter post. That person has nothing to do with LTT or the verified gamer program. They're just using the LTT Twitter post to advertise the graphics cards they're selling.

Everything suggested by LTT so far is that they're selling 3080's, not 3060ti's.

LTT does not ship from the EU.

I like how there's an option for Dennis. I can imagine it now, the minute he takes over his first video will be a review for some foot massager or something.

    LTT: James
    TechLinked: Riley
TechQuickie: I have not watched in a while, so I don't have an opinion.

The reason I say this is because I think James posseses the best all-round knowledge, hosting skills and general on-camera presence to take over what Linus does now.
I feel like he could be the glue the team needs in certain scenarios.

For example, I think Alex, Anthony and Colin would be great full-time hosts for LTT too, but I think in some way they are a bit too technical at times, considering LTT wants to focus on a broader audience.
They are great writers, but I think James possess the focus to be the full time hosts, should Linus retire.

As for TechLinked, Riley just makes the most sense with his experience with NetLinked (Daily) which makes him the obvious choice as the writer and main host.
Of course, other LMG staff would still host too, but I could see him being the main host of the channel.

Tech quickie I have not watched in a long time, so I couldn't pin-point a singular person.
I think TQ has been working on a restructuring of their brand image, so anything we judge based on the past may be inaccurate in a year or so time.

I want it to be Anthony, but realistically I think it will be Riley or Alex.

Its coming I think. It was hinted in one of the BTS videos on Floatplane (MR Office Tour, 12:40 mark). With words being "It's happening, eventually".

It was also hinted in a way in the shortcircuit about the bigass industrial laser - Colin showed a prototype of an acrylic LTT logo distro plate that failed, and, well... not many potential uses for that.

Thanks, it is a keychron K4 with a mix of Hami Melon and side printed black keycaps. It's great and feels great. Here's a photo of it if you're interested, the keycaps are mixed and matched on 2 different keyboards.

This is my flex. It's a shabby old core duo laptop which I bought for five bucks from the tip, and I got the controller for four dollars from a pawn shop. It's all just hot glue and time spent filing things into the right shape.

You've seen Guitar Hero on PC, but have you seen PC on Guitar Hero?

    I have a Dell XPS gen2 that I purchased new in 2005
I have windows 7 installed on it and it even has RGB lighting.
I also have an AMD edition Cooler Master HAF932 that is still new in the box.

Niswendel reacted to MrBrightSyde in ASIC machine profitability?
This is wrong. Cost of electricity is like 12 cents USD in most US states, though there are a few states with really high electric costs. Using 150w as the power used (using my 2080 as an example), it costs about 50 cents a day. I earn 5 dollars a day on average (after fees) mining ETH using the 2miners pool. My 2080 still has 2 years of warranty, and I only need to mine on it for about 4 and a half months to make back what I paid for it ($620 used).

Unless ETH crashs in 4 months (highly doubt it), mining it would be very profitable, and there is low/no chance of really screwing up your GPU since you usually set a power limit that keeps it lower than 70c with fans running at 50%, with only a memory overclock.  Also "lower resale value" is not applicable when you have already mined on it long enough to pay back the card price. Any resale value at that point would be pure profit.

I mean ya if your talking about gaming that seems good, especially since visuals seem like a factor, Watercooling is definitely a struggle but awesome. RTX 3090 is king, the 5950 seems good,  I don’t think I’d go intel, and 64 GB is IMO enoughh
