  1. I have a desktop and a laptop hooked up to the same monitor. I have all the peripherals plugged into the monitor and use a thunderbolt cable to my laptop as the one connection point. My desktop motherboard has a usb-c port and I am looking for a switch that supports thunderbolt and pd 3 that would allow me to switch the peripherals between the computers (I only use thunderbolt for display on the laptop). I’ve been able to find this, but don’t need all the extra USB ports. I’m wondering if anyone has a similar scenario and what solution you use.
  2. I'm running a AMD 3200G, B450M PRO-VDH MAX, 8gb Ram, RX480, 528 gb M.2 However I'm only getting 11 mb/s max download. Both my Ethernet cable and port are rated for 1 gb speed, could my limited speed be caused only using one stick or one channel of Ram? I get 30 mb/s on a much older laptop, same connection. Spectrum says I should be getting over 200
  3. I learned my lesson buy first buying a Sceptre 1080p Curved 27 inch. I recently upgraded to a Samsung Business CH890 34 inch UWQHD. The difference is uncanny, even the colors are noticeably better through pictures
  4. Okay, my mistake. I reviewed the motherboard and it is actually type-c 3.1, so I'm guessing I can not use it as a display out.
  5. I just ordered a new motherboard with a usb-c thunderbolt port. I also ordered an WQHD monitor with a USB-C input, for video input as well as enabling me to plug in my peripherals to the back of my monitor. My question is, can I continue to use the motherboard port for a display when I get a graphics card or will I have to use a display port cable for video and usb-c for peripherals? I was under the impression that a graphics card had to be used for the display out when connected. My processor has integrated Vega 8 graphics if it makes a difference.
  6. Following as I'm looking for the same thing. I got a 27"/1080p/60Hz Sceptre curved monitor and I have had a very poor experience (terrible blacks and whites, individual discolored pixels, bad sound), so I'm looking to upgrade to 27"/1440p/144Hz that's not a Sceptre.
  7. I can leave external host empty, but not internal I was able to find the manual online just now https://d15yx0mnc9teae.cloudfront.net/sites/default/files/RAC2V1S Sagemcom Wave 2.pdf
  8. So I'm trying to port forward my "The Isle" server. However My router asks for more than just the process (TCP-UDP), port number (7777-7778), and IP address that I know. I am also confused about which IP address I use, local or public. I have tried many tutorials but every time I check online to see if the port is open, it says the port is closed. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  9. I was going to buy a 3200g as it comes with integrated graphics, but should I wait until 3300x comes out?
