  1. By the way, forgot to mention this, my old earbuds works fine when i test it on the pc, no hiss, nothin
  2. Just bought a pair of KZ ZSN Pro x, tested it on my phone, sounds amazing, totally satisfied. Plug that badboy to my pc, constant hissing, and it only happens whenever there are no noise playing in the pc. Say im listening to a music, whenever i bump the volume to 0, the hiss comes, bump to 2, the hiss significantly drops down, still noticeable. Bump to 4, the hiss is gone Why is this happening?
  3. Before i start, i want to note that im still a beginner at programming, i can barely get a grip on while statements. But from what i've read, the best way to train is to just make projects that helps on your daily activities, so i decided to do so. So everyday, i record my class' zoom meetings and upload those video files to google drive, copy the drive link, then i post the link on a whatsapp group according to the subjects. I'd like to make a program where i can paste the drive link, define the subject and then the message sent automatically I'm wondering how can i achieve that, what modules should i use and so-so, just try to keep it basic
  4. https://www.tokopedia.com/rexngo/lenovo-ideapad-slim-3-g4id-ryzen-7-5700u-8gb-512ssd-w10-ohs-14fhd
  5. weight wont be too much of an issue for me, just looking for bang for the buck i guess
  6. Good question tho, idk the dorm asked for laptops, and im pretty sure we'll also do alot of field studies there, and i dont think there's any room for me to setup.
  7. It was my parent's its been ages since i used it, im going to a dorm so i kinda need something for me without interupting my parents work
  8. So i've been searching for a laptop under 700$. and i got the ideapad slim 3, it has a ryzen 7 5700u but it only has 8 gb ram. I dont know if there are any additional ram slots due to the lack of reviews i can find about the product Should i just go for it?
  9. In terms of usage, i'll only use it for online schooling, basic editing, and basic programming. So a decent cpu would be appreciated (Preferably amd) and i'll also need a decent battery life and when it comes to gaming, i wont game on the machine too much, even if i do, i'll problaly just play some simple games like csgo, TF2, indie platformers, and emulating old consoles. So a good gpu isnt really necesarry, but a decent one would be appreciated (im fine with playing on low res)
  10. ay man sry for the late reply, i had something to do, but it worked, tysm man
  11. So i was having some usb issues so for troubleshooting i decided to delete the usb root hub and restart the pc Before i delete the usb root hub there was 2 of them, i deleted both, then i restarted the pc. After i restarted, 2 out of 6 usb 3.0 ports did not work at all, so i opened device manager and found this: Any idea how i can recover the 2nd root hub?
  12. Hi, im just looking for a pair of handsfree for around 10$, im using it for general use, like media consumption, music, and games. For music, i listen to all kinds of music really, rock, classical, etc. For games, i don't really play competitive games like cs and such, but i'll play it like once in a week with a friend or somethin. I mainly play games like doom and team fortress 2 It would be appreciated to have more than one suggestions just in case if the suggested model isnt in stock or isnt even in my country. My previous handsfree that i used is the Samsung EHS-61 (the stock handsfree for old samsung phones), just so you know how low my standards are when it comes to audio quality Thanks in advance for any responses
  13. So today, when my buddy opens chrome on his laptop, he notices several visual glitches. Whatsapp web chat messages appears like this: There's a giant black box on the search predictions: And youtube thumbnails are just red pictures (Some loads, some dont): (its not his internet connection i checked that) At first i thought it was a gpu issue, but the glitches appears on a specific element of a site, the glitch placement isnt consistent, thats why i ruled out the possibility of a gpu issue (btw he's using a laptop with an intel i7 7700hq and a gtx 1050 with 8 gigs of ram) I asked him to screenshot his task manager to see every program using the cpu but i saw nothing fishy, just steam, riot, and windows things, nothing out fo the ordinary. I also asked him to swap his windows theme since he was using a custom one, he swapped it to windows 10 (light) but still, the issue persists. And i asked him to check the threat and virus protection history but it seems like his laptop is using an oem version of windows 10 for his parents company, the virus and threat section is managed by said company. But he claims to never download any sketchy things on the internet I'd like to ask you guys what things i can do in order to find the source of the problem, but im sorry i can't answer any questions about his laptop since he is offline right now, i can't ask to him to check about something in his laptop. Thanks in advance for any responses
  14. So one of my gpu fans are broken. i decided to swap it with another one but i tseems like nobody is selling a replacement in my country, the gpu fan have a sort of unique mounting holes. Here's a picture from aliexpress for reference: Are there any way i can make my gpu cooler? Currently my pc only have one exhaust fan, so i think it should help a bit if i add another one Plus, if i were to use this card at the temperature limit (The limit is 90c) over a long period (4 hours max). How quick my card will be dead.
  15. I'm someone who normally consumes 1080p content on my phones so i can distinguish a 720p with a 1080p video, but how good is this resolution? The aspect ratio is 21:9
  16. Im going to open up my gpu and fixe one of the fans, its just that i dont know the screw size. I have some couple of questions: 1, Do all GPUs use the same screws? 2. In a single GPU, are there multiple screw sizes? or they just use one type 3. What is the size
  17. Solved the issue btw, i cleared the cmos and it worked, in case someone with the same issue searches this
  18. i have no displays with dvi ports in it, sorry for the long reply, your reply isnt being showed up for some reason
  19. Quick disclaimer, this shit is long... There's a lot i need to cover So i was just turning on my pc like every now and then and boom, no display. First, let me tell you the condition of the pc: 1. One of the GPU fans is broken (I'm waiting for the parts to come) 2. I use a dongle for my display (HDMI To VGA) Second, during the timespan the fan broke, i stopped playing heavy titles, i try to use lower settings in order to get below 75 Degrees, but during the setting process, the gpu does hit above 85 for a short amount of time Third, i did some checking on the pc itself and i found these things: 1. The GPU was running, it was hot when i touched the backplate 2. The monitor wasnt the issue (I can connect my dad's laptop to it) 3. The dongle wasnt the issue (The dongle was working perfectly when i paired it with my dad's laptop) 4. The HDMI port wasnt the issue, i tried using the 3 other display ports it has, still doesnt work Now my guess is my gpu is dead, im a dumb motherfucker using my gpu with only one fan, im fucking disgraceful of a human being, but i just can't seem to accept it. I would like to hear some possible solutions or issues, i'm currently sitting in front of my pc right now so i can do a test right away Thanks in advance for anyone replying (GPU: RX 580 PowerColor RedDragon)
  20. Increase the resolution, this should put less weight on the cpu
  21. Its an rx 580 powercolor reddragon (8gb variant) The right fan just wont spin, and its too easy to pull out, someone says that i just need to replace the fans but i cant find a replacement and this fan system seems different then the videos i watched. Thanks in advance for everyone helping Here's a vid of me spinning the fan and pulling out the broken one:
  22. No, its the fan on the top of the gpu
  23. My gpu have a dual fan setup, one of em just doesn't spin smoothly, it wabbles and it always hits the heatsink I do have some ideas why this happens: 1. The fan needs some more grease 2. The fan doesn't sit properly Which one of those is the cause? Or is it something else Btw, thanks in advance
