  1. This forum helped a lot, I'm a brand new builder too with the same hardware except I have a 2600. I didn't know much about trouble shooting and i have been trying to find answers. So it is safe to keep using my PC when all four lights just flash on 1 by 1 at every start up? If this isn't the source of my PC having unexpected shutdowns and sometimes not booting, would anyone know whats causing issues. (I think it might be the PSU, but I'm not an expert)
  2. Hey, I'm brand new to PC building and just got my first rig setup this last week all brand new parts. I'm positive I installed everything right, but I am concerned about how I installed the cpu. Sorry if this is the wrong category I dony know what's wrong or where to ask. Here's my problem, after installing windows and all drivers and AMD software I got my system booting and operated just fine for a couple hours and while running a game the whole thing unexpectedly shutdown. Blacked screen and whole pc powered down. (I am connected to a surge protector and no weather was happening) I booted back up and all was well for a few days until I was playing a diffrent game and it "shutdown" agin but this time the rgb not indicator LEDs on the ram inside stayed on but mobo LEDs and fans on the gpu, cpu cooler and system fans all turned off. I dont know what that meant. I really couldn't tell if the system was off but I decided not to dig inside. I really dont now what to call this. I left it to do whatever it had to do for about an hour assuming that would help not corrupt any files. I flipped the psu switch and let the power die out before booting again. I played more games for another couple hours until I decided to turn it off using windows shutdown. A minute after i attempted to power it back on to check the bios. The screen wouldn't display and the red vga indicator light came on. I have a 5700 xt and ryzen 5 2600 running on 16gb of trident z ram and all on the msi b450 tomahawk max mobo running off a 500gb ssd. I did get an evga 650w white rated psu. I believe I have been having issues with the psu or the gpu but I hadn't seen the vga light until the last time I powered it on. I dont think there was any overheating problems as I have max fans (5) running and temps always stayed below 62 °C during my most intense gaming sessions I kept monitoring system and gpu info to see if I could catch why it initially shutdown randomly that first night. And one question, is it bad if I keep using it, will it damage my pc. If someone could help me that would be great I dont want to damage my new system.
