I decided to go with the 1600af due to better upgrade path and cheaper too, the benchmarks on youtube for pure gaming put the 9100f ahead by a small amount of fps but having the 6cores/12threads should be quite useful for next gen gaming as those will be 8c/16t so games might start getting better optimised for more cores in the future.
