Budget (including currency): $700 Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Warzone mostly Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): - I have just updated my 2nd monitor to a 240hz Alienware. So I have that in addition to my 60Hz BenQ. - I play at 1080p on high settings and currently get around 90-110fps in Warzone - I sometimes see lag and quality go down when I have Warzone on my 240Hz and Twitch/YouTube video on my BenQ 60Hz Just wanting to know what I am missing and what would be great to put into this build. edit: I have 32gb RAM it says only one PCPartPicker Part List CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4 GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($34.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($87.99 @ Newegg) Storage: SanDisk SSD PLUS 120 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($49.98 @ Amazon) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($44.99 @ Adorama) Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB Video Card ($499.99 @ Best Buy) Case: Cooler Master N200 MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($59.99 @ B&H) Power Supply: EVGA 750 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit ($106.99 @ Other World Computing) Total: $884.92 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-04-24 12:29 EDT-0400
  2. @ShrimpBrime let's just say money isn't a worry lol. I forgot to add that I already have 32 GB of RAM I ordered another set post build. Any hardware suggestions on great upgrades would be awesome.
  3. @ShrimpBrimeI don't have any data on that atm as I have not been looking at that. Do you not think the need for an updated processor is necessary?
  4. Hey everyone, I recently bought an Alienware AW1824HF 240hz monitor which was a fantastic upgrade compared to my BenQ RL455... 60Hz monitor. The only issue that I am running into now is when I am gaming for example Warzone, and I have a twitch stream or another YouTube video opened on my BenQ monitor, the stream or YouTube video will start to lag and look like trash. My bets guess is that my system was okay running two 60Hz monitors but now that I have a 240Hz monitor something is holding the system back. I will put my current build below for reference, but I am just wondering if someone knows what the issue is and how I can upgrade my system to better service my new monitor setup. All comments are appreciated! 5. @Mick Naughty I already got the 2070 super I am just wondering about the processor to get. I want to stick with Intel. Would I need to updrage my motherboard to accommodate for a new 9900k?
  6. @Mister Woof with that said what would you suggest as a good upgrade to my CPU? Like a middle option, great option and overkill option and the abilities I would have with using each?
  7. @GreyestGoat how do you suggest I go about fixing that then because in my monitor settings (BenQ RL455hm) it can only do 1920x10870)?
  8. @GreyestGoat you are saying that I shouldn't run my 2070 at 1080p? I haven't heard of this so I am just curious. Thanks.
  9. Good morning, I have had the same i7 4790k since 2017 and just recently upgraded my GPU from an R9 380 to a 2070 super. I did achieve some performance improvement obviously but maybe not as much as I would like. For example: Warzone on Ultra @ 1080p I am achieving 80-110 fps and sometimes it drops into the low 70's. I was wondering if the CPU is holding me back since it is quite old and if so what would be some good suggestions on upgrades? My Build
