I picked Tp-link EAP110 that would be strong enough, but now I'm reading something about omada controller. My main router is Archer ax73 and switch netacad GSM7248.

Hi, I recently build NAS, but I can't find any user friendly software. I tried Linux, but it's not best OS for me. I want it for plex, network shared folders and for adding space to my Google account. Right now it's running on windows 10 home. Specs: i5 6500, 8GB 2400Mhz ram, 4TB (500GB ssd, 500GB HDD, 2TB hdd and 1TB HDD). I looked at TrueNAS, but I want to be sure. Any suggestions?

Hi, for a log time i was running this oc, but recently my memory needs more voltage so it started degrading i thing. Windows started crashing for no reason and now i cant enable XMP and pass memtest without milion errors. So i decided sending this memory kit to hell. Mem voltage is now 1.53V, I know thats too high but at least its stable and funnily enought this kit scales with voltage to 1.67V. This is my current OC any suggestion how to improve it?

Thats supper impressive. I would try resoldering rezistors from old mobo to this, but only with different values. but this seems like bios thing. Run compare program for bios from 980ti and titanX bios. I hope u know well hexidecimal. But im betting on rezistors. And, is pinout same? Hope this will help

did u try running new OS? If yes, try to install older driver version, this coulf be just buggy driver, but i doubt it, but stil its worth a try. If u have other systems, try to run cards there. This doesnt look like HW problem. Or clean SLI most

gtx 1050ti is quite old by now. Clean dust of course and change thermal paste. if u still have bad performace try to run older driver version and download msi afterburner and turn fans to 100% and see what happens. this should solve ur issue

try to underclock memory with msi afterburner. Also try to change fan curve with it. Maybe its only sensitive memory chip

Hi, I'm building ecu for a bike, now I'm deciding between arduino deu(arm based), raspberry pi zero and raspberry pi 3B. I'm looking for 2ns response from input tu output. If I use raspberry I won't run Linux or any operating system, just a code for my needs, I know that system is makings higher latency. Sorry if this is in wrong forum section, but I didn't know, where to put it and as this is for software I thought it's good place here.

Yeah, I was thinking about it. But bios is encrypted and there is no reader for it yet. At least I know of. I was thinking about comparing 1660S bios and try to compare it with some tool and than changing mem section to that from 2060s although it's different core, 2060s I would compare to 2060 12gb bios and there I would find out it's mem section

Hi, I want to try upgrading my VRAM to 8Gb on my gpu, but is it worth the trouble and time? Core is already max out and is at part with the stock rtx2060. Or should I just buy new rtx 2060 12gb instead. This is just thought in my head for some time, because I could crank up details in game but VRAM is insufficient for it. Gpu is already mod (volt mod, shut mod, cap mod...) so this would be last and final mod to the GPU. I'm just worried about rezistors behind memory. Because I never tried something like this. All gddr6 memory pin out should be same, for people that want to say that it would be a problem. Just a thought, not project right now

Hi, so today I repaired pc and noticed something weird. PC was crashing while booting to windows (that eventually brought it to blue screen). Customers had it in 3 repair shops and they said that motherboard or cpu was bad. So he called me. He was using pc with gigabyte b45pm h and r5 3600. He bought new motherboard (some Asus b550, it is some rog, idk) it was doing same thing. So set cpu to 3Ghz 1.4V vcore and system to 1.1(from 1.05). Ram to 1.4V. And system started working. So I did some testing and cpu was so degraded that it can only run 4.05Ghz with 1.375V and 1.1V (that other important rail that is supposed to be at 1.05V) So system could pass prime 95. I brought gigabite bord home and tested it. It was putting 1.44V under load!! Cpu used while testing was r7 3700. Original cpu (r5 3600) was never overclocked for information. This is ridiculous, did anyone noticed this weird behaviour with cheap AM4 motherboards?

Check hot spot with gpuZ. This issue may be from hot spot. Yeah, gpu can be around 70°C but hot spot can be 90°C and in that case gpu starts underclocking itself or it can shutdown it self. If hot spot is higher than 90°C try to remount cooler. Because you may have bad pressure from cooler to gpu core. And lower power to 70%

Try RMA. Maybe it's just bad. This sounds like it just committed suicide. Messure core rezistance behind gpu caps. It should be around 1~0.1 ohms. Memory should be around 65~25 ohms. These are two mains components that u can messure

Did u try replacing thermal paste? These temperatures are a little higher then it should be, only around 5°C, but that is only matter of airflow. You can also try upping fan curve, for example try to make it so when it hit 70°C fans will go to 85%

Like yeah. We should do it manually, but it's too time consuming. So someone came up with an app for it. I'm in Slovakia, one of worst economics and highest taxes in EU and world. School system gets very little money for its needs. Even worse, I'm in "richest" region so my school gets minimum money by law( other regions are better, but this school has a good name and I have "bright future", so I will have good paying job). Not best conditions, but I have to work with what I have. At least for now. And yeah, average phone user XD.

When it starts lagging and slowing down I check memory usage in settings. But it will reach 5GB and then it will slow down significantly or app just crashes. When u have 2000Hz rising Edge and u need to really fast find some spots and need to compare with oscilloscope, app will crash after 400~700 devisions. Its frustrating because when it crashes u can't start where it crashed. 10GB ram is with some headroom for the future. App was made by some student in my school to help us. But it was primarily made for iPhone and only adopted for android use. My primary subjects is making IC for computing, but there is pre taste phase where u make it with comparitors and stuff. In this state u need to chcek a lot of signals and phone for comparison is just better, at leat for me. And app for Windows is just atrocious

I know its midrange phone. But I'm looking price tag around 500€~700€. In my state we can write is as business expense and it will get you - 23% of price. On android I would need at least 10GB ram for my usage but apple needs only 4GB(my friend has a iPhone and he needs only 4GB ram and still has headroom, I still don't know how it is possible). And I have serious strist issues with oppo or huawei. I don't have problem if they will scan Icloud or my Google photos because store where I have data is their property, but I have problem with scanning my personal device that I bought and it's my property. (my old honor was sending some private stuff, I think it was some files that I never search on my phone, I had some cad drawings and eagle schematic. After a week a had adds everywhere for components used. This files were from school and there is no way I ever search for them on my personal pc or phone. This is why I don't want any of these companies)

I know that it's not high end phone. I'm constantly running out of ram. Android on my phone is using 2.1 GB ram, as soon as usage hit 5GB it starts to extremely slows down. I need better optimization. CPU is still fast enough also battery is still good after two years of heavy usage. I would need at least 10GB ram. My but my friend with iPhone is good with 4GB ram and still has headroom. This was why I was considering iPhone. This time instead of android.

Yes, it meet all aspects. But I'm concerned about CSAM. I'm just pessimistic from my experience with AI. At least with that I come across in school. There is just too many things that can go wrong. We worked on some face stuff that should shown your ethnicity, but it was catastrophicall failure

Hi. Over the years I tried every big company but not apple. So now it's time for upgrade, because A70 is just not powerful enough for me. Now I want to try apple and wait for new iPhone, but I don't like what they are planning to do. They will be scanning, my face for child abuse and their AI will be scanning for child porn? I get it, but I like my privacy. My gf is, let's just say she has smaller breasts. So now AI will flag the photos and send it to verification? AI will for sure make a lot of mistakes (AI are hard to train for this application, I worked at similar project and we failed, because there is a lot of factors in play and so many factors are shared between groups of people. I'm not going in details. There is just a lot mashine learning and that is not perfect by any means for this application. It will catch for sure a lot of pedos, but it will also put a lot of innocent people in a bad light only for shape of them or their parents) and I don't like feeling that stranger will be staring on my gf, when AI will act strange for some reason that even creators didn't expect. Also I need phone for electronics databases and chip databases with decoders. I'm in EU, will this breach in security apply to me as well or only for US? This is biggest deal breaker for me right now. Battery is not concern, I can replace it by my self in the future if it will get bad. Lidar scanner would be good for pcb and fusion 360 modelling. I'm a student and I need some good phone for my study, work on projects.
