  1. So if I get the board I listed and a 5600x it will work, I just have to update the BIOS?
  2. If I get a 5600x won't I have to buy a B550 mbd? As for the PSU, i found a pretty good deal.
  3. I was just wondering if these part are all compatible with each other and would appreciate any help and suggestions! CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Cooler: Be Quiet Dark Rock 4 MBD: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max II Graphics card: ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX3060TI V2 8GB OC Edition RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 2x8 GB (16GB total) PSU: ASUS ROG Strix 650G Power Supply
  4. Bulgaria, budget is about 800$, ordering from amazon.co.uk because it is cheaper than local shops.
  5. Hi everyone! I'm planning a new build and was wondering if these parts are ok. The pc will be used for gaming mainly. CPU: AMD Ryzen 3600 (stock cooler) RAM: OLOy 8x2GB 3000MHz Motherboard: Asrock B450M-HDV r4.0 Graphics Card: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1650 Super OC 4G SSD: Crucial P1 500GB PSU: Thermaltake Smart 500w Case: Deepcool Matrexx 30 Fans: upHere 120mm RGB Led 5-pack fans
  6. Yeah that was already on, I didn't even do it myself. I heard somewhere that it decreases performance so I tried it out and sure enough, it worked!
  7. For some reason turning off game mode from windows settings fixed it
  8. Hi everyone! So I recently bought my first pc. It has a ryzen 7 3700x and 16gb 3600mhz cl 18 tridentZ RGB ram. I am facing a problem when I play minecraft though - I'm getting only about 130 fps at 12 chunks. I have the capacity to run the game at much more fps but why can't I?
  9. Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Excel, Word, websurfing, very light games (Cake Shop 2, etc.) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hi everyone! I am currently gathering parts for a new workstation. I was wondering of those parts work together: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (will use the stock cooler since it probably won't be overclocked) RAM: Crucial Ballistix 3600MHz Cl16 MBD: MSI B450M PRO-M2 MAX HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 2TB SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250GB Case: Fractal Design Define Mini C (one 120mm exhaust and one 120mm front fan included + two BeQuiet! Pure Wings 2 PWM bought seperately and a splitter since this mobo only has one system fan connection) GPU: MSI NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 710 2GD3H PSU: Corsair VS350 80+ Cheers!
  10. the clockspeeds are essentially max and base or somewhat above base. the thermals are about 40 - 50 degrees
  11. Yup, returned everything as it was when i got the system running for the first time. though I left PBO on. Every time I turn on the PC I experience framedrops and I have to restart to make them go away.
  12. So... update: I turned off my PC for about 2 hours to go do some other stuff. When I came back and turned it on, the same framedrops occured. Restarting the PC seemed to fix the issue though. I also turned on a-xmp profile 1 since msi has two profiles and 1 is allegedly more stable.
  13. Alright, I went into the bios and put the clock speed on auto but what about the RAM? How can I put it to 3600MHz
  14. I just thought that 4.4 GHz was just the maximum capacity at which the cpu could run on it's own and that overclocking it was when you took it over 4.4. I came to the conclusion that the cpu should always be able to run nicely of speeds upto 4.4 and if it wasn't able to it was an error in the cpu itself.
  15. 3.6 GHz - 1.210V 4.0 GHz - 1.256V 4.4 GHz - 1.510V
  16. What do you mean? I was told that this cpu could handle 3600MHz.
  17. The ram frequency is 1800MHz, the cpu voltage is 1.256V, in the bios the temp of the cpu is about 46 but that's probably idle so where can I check when it is under load?
  18. I went into the bios and turned it to 3600MHz. As for the voltage, how do I check it?
  19. CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700X Cooler: BeQuiet! Dark Rock 4 RAM: G.Skill TridentZ RGB 8x2GB cl 18 3600MHz (They are at 3600MHz, they came with a speed of 2133MHz) GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super Windforce OC 3X 8GB Mobo: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max PSU: Seasonic Focus GX650W Case: Cooler Master TD500 mesh white + BeQuiet Pure Wings 2 for exhaust Monitor: LG 27GL850
  20. Hi everyone! So I've had my new PC for about a month now, which has a Ryzen 7 3700X and a Gigabyte Geforce RTX 2070 Super Windforce 3X. At first I was using it at base speed (3.6GHz) but then I decided to put it into some work so I put it into 4.0 GHz. It was working fine and after a week or so, I put it to 4.4GHz. Again, working fine, for about a week. I started experiencing freezes or rather framedrops about every two seconds. At first I thought it was the GPU. I ran a Heaven Benchmark. Got a score of about 2100 and the whole thing was pulling out frame drops left and right and I got a minimum fps of 8.1. Then I decided to turn down the CPU clock speed. I ran the benchmark again and there was zero framedrops. I'm wondering if I can give amazon this CPU (it should still have warranty, I got all the parts about a month ago) or I have to live with the base clock speed. Cheers!
