  1. I currently use Autocad and Maya. The laptop is priced at 940$.
  2. Hello! I am searching for a laptop to work at university and game on it occasionally. I am not looking for a computer, I've just sold the one I had because I need a portable device to carry around with me. Thus, I am looking for the best laptop that fits my budget, which is going to be my main device for the next 4 years. I currently have this particular model in mind : LENOVO LOQ 15APH8, which comes into versions in my country: ryzen 5 7640hs or ryzen 7 7840hs, rtx 4060 (115W TDP), 16 GB ram, 512GB ssd. The one featuring the ryzen 5 costs 240$ dollars less than the other. Is the price difference worth it? The ryzen 7 processor seems to be much more powerful, although I might not be going to feel the performance difference in my current workload.
  3. Within the same price range not really... I found these two : https://www.emag.ro/laptop-gaming-acer-nitro-5-an515-57-cu-procesor-intelr-coretm-i7-11800h-pana-la-4-60-ghz-15-6-qhd-ips-165hz-16gb-1tb-ssd-nvidiar-geforce-rtxtm-3070-8gb-no-os-nh-qfgex-001/pd/DM571CMBM/ https://www.emag.ro/laptop-gaming-legion-5-15arh7h-cu-procesor-amd-ryzentm-7-6800h-pana-la-4-70-ghz-15-6-full-hd-ips-16gb-ddr5-512gb-ssd-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-8gb-no-os-cloud-grey-3y-on-site-premium-care-82rd008trm/pd/DHHFSZMBM/ The second one is clearly the best but it exceeds my budget with 100$. Btw, thanks for helping me out today, really appreciating it <3.

  5. Hello! I've been looking for a new laptop these days and I've come across two models, one featuring rtx 3060 (TGP 140W) and the other one rtx 4060 (TGP 75W). Both of them have the same processor i5 12500h, the first one having 16GB more (32 in total). Which one should I go for? I think that the 4060's performance will be power limited so the rtx 3060 may be a better choice. ***There may be another option to take into consideration, ryzen 7 6800h + rtx 3060 (140W), also supporting a 2560 x 1600 resolution. In benchmarks 12500h seems to perform better though. Which one would you buy?
  6. Hi guys! I have bought a new pc powered by the ryzen 5 5600x. Since the stock cooler can not maintain a safe temperature... I have ordered a new one, arctic freezer 34 esports duo. Here is my question : Does it matter which type of alcohol I am gonna use to clear the thermal paste ? A lot of people recommend using isopropyl alcohol but I am not sure I can get this one.
  7. Thanks all for replies. I am gonna keep the cooler for now, it seems fine running 70-73 degrees while gaming. I am coming from an intel i5 7400 which averages 50 degrees so I was a bit worried :). Have a nice day
  8. Hi guys! My new pc has just arrived, powered by the Ryzen 5 5600x (stock cooler) and I am a bit concerned about the temperatures.. Playing CSGO with FPS capped at 300 I've managed to maintain 65-67, which is fine. Removing the cap.. core temp shows a maximum of 79 degrees. I think that's not the average since the temperature after a quick alt+tab appears as 72-73 which seems to be fine as well. Is it a must to buy an after market cooler ? I do just gaming, no editing. Also, the ryzen master app shows a different score, like 5 degrees less than core temp. Which one is more accurate ? Since AMD made them both, I believe core temp is not what I'm looking for.
  9. Wow, this build is so cheap. Unfortunately i do not have amazon or newegg in my country and i have to pay 1250 $ for the whole build... Thanks for all your help btw. Have a nice day !
  10. I am just gaming, 144 fps or more would be nice since i have a 144hz monitor. My monitor also supports freesync, so an amd card would be perfect.
  11. Yes, if you can make a list on pcpartpicker. I would be grateful.
  12. I am planning to upgrade the PSU if i will change the whole build. I think this model is a good deal : Super Flower Leadex III Gold, 80+ Gold, 650W. About the budget, i do not know exactly... once i decide on which component to replace, i am going to sell the old one because the computer is still great for 1080p gaming 60hz and i can not just throw it away. So let's say 1000$. I think waiting until summer may bring me better deals if ryzen 4000 cpus and RNDA2 cards are released.
  13. Hello. This is my configuration : • HDD - WD Blue 1TB SATA-III 7200 RPM 64MB • Power Supply - Sirtec - High Power Element BRONZE II 600W • Case - Deepcool Tesseract BF black • GPU - GIGABYTE Radeon RX 480 Windforce 8GB DDR5 256-bit • CPU Intel Kaby Lake, Core i5 7400 3GHz box • Mobo GIGABYTE GA-B250M-DS3H • Memory HyperX Fury Black 16GB DDR4 2400MHz CL15 Dual Channel Kit • SSD WD NEW Green 240GB SATA-III 2.5 inch I want to give this pc a little upgrade because it can not handle 144 hz at all. I thought a ryzen 5 3600 or 3600x (maybe this is future proof) with 3600 mhz memory is a great idea. Worth the upgrade ? However, a more powerful GPU would be a good pick and maybe this summer i will change the CPU too, but i do not know how much performance i can gain. My monitor supports free sync so a 5700 xt is a great choice. However my cpu bottlenecks any gpu on the market, more powerful than the 480 so the perfomance won't be the same ? I have monitored my GPU and CPU usage: Valorant : GPU 10-40% - CPU 80-90% Fortnite : CPU 99-100%,sometimes 96 - GPU 100% and frame drops sometimes Apex: CPU 80-100% GPU 100%. CSGO: CPU 70%, GPU 10-40% The best idea would be to upgrade the whole computer once maybe. What do you think ? Thanks in advance.
