  1. Ah okay so the cpu will boost to 4.2 all core when needed but if not just one core will boost to that? Ah right okay my ram is 3200 I don't really wanna overclock anything just cos I'm still a noob at pc stuff and I want my pc to last a while.
  2. Does the cpu boost all cores automatically or is there a setting to apply it? I have a msi b450 tomohawk max mobo
  3. Yeahh thank you for your help I'll prob drop the voltage from 1.4 to 1.3 something like that and then test it and sooner or later get a cooler so I can get better speeds out of it and maybe even get 4.2ghz all core without it melting. If all core is possible?
  4. corsair 275r airflow, yeah I'm thinking of getting a arctic freezer 34 esports duo which seems to be a good cooler for the price.
  5. corsair 275r airflow with the case fans that come with it.
  6. I have already re seated the cooler one with new thermal paste. Yeah I use ryzen master.
  7. I tested my ryzen 5 3600 on cinibench r20 and it reached a score of 3333 which is a little low from what I've seen but then I saw the temps and it reached 95c with all corse hitting 3.9ghz at beginning of test and going down to 3.7ghz at the end it didn't once reach 4ghz. Its cooled by the stock cooler and I have tried taking the cooler off and replacing the thermal paste but same thing happens. I know the stock cooler is not the best cooler by a long shot but 95c is still alot hotter than I thought it'd get.
  8. Damn my GPU has a 6 pin connection to the PSU, welp hopefully nothings dead.
  9. Yeahhh the power supply was the hottest part in my pc, what's the component that is most likely to be dead if any or is it random?
  10. Yeah my GPU and CPU was it normal temps and when I had taken it apart I couldn't touch the PSU it was so hot.
  11. Its embarrassing but I was playing fortnite and I only have a gtx 1060 6gb oc from msi and a Ryzen 5 3600.
  12. I don't see any burn marks on the motherboard or any burn marks enywhere actually and I didn't smell any smoke just the pc running hot and the smell of hot components.
  13. Yeah I haven't done anything with it for a week, I guess I just gotta buy a decent psu and cross fingers.
  14. Yeah it just popped and everything went off
