  1. If you have any available USB ports, you can use a wifi adapter.
  2. I understand dude. The internet is so untrustworthy and filled with stupid wannabes.
  3. I knew someone like you would come up. Here ya go. I've never used this typing test before so here's another score from Nitrotype. I'm the second one. My average score And in case you STILL don't believe me, here's my account history on Nitrotype which spans several years In the end, wpm doesn't really matter as much as we think because you only type as fast as you can think on things like essays.
  4. This question is just an invitation for me to flex, so I will. I type 100+ wpm consistently with around 92% accuracy. Did I mention that I'm 14.
  5. And obviously, this will only work if the os can read the file system. So trying to boot windows and view a linux/apple/bsd system will be problematic. Very informative. Thank you!
  6. I'm thinking that it works like normal. Which is that you can access other accounts' files if you have administrative permissions. But I might be wrong on this.
  7. So let's say I have Hard Drive 1, Hard Drive 2, and Hard Drive 3. HD1 contains Windows 10 and some programs/files. HD2 only contains programs and files. HD3 Is completely blank. If I were to setup dual boot by installing windows 10 on HD3, will I still be able to access all my programs/files from HD1 and HD2 when I boot into the OS contained in HD3?
  8. Literally at that point, just go to your nearby walmart and buy a membrane keyboard from there. There is no point in setting a budget for a keyboard if its less than $30-40.
  9. imo the razer viper mini doesn't seem that bad, but yea generally most razer products are a work of shit.
  10. I do this all the time. Like what tech said, there should be absolutely no reason your pc will short out unless you, for some reason, shoved the side panel into the pc components. At that point, I'd be more worried about physically damaging the parts over static shock.
  11. Exact video I was thinking of right when I read the question
  12. Just realized it might be because you want to keys to bottom out sooner but still, I'm sure there are better ways to do that.
  13. Can I ask why you want to add o-rings? To me, it seems pretty counter-intuitive as it just makes mechanical switches feel like a membrane switch. I have no real evidence for this, this is just based my speculation and some youtube videos that reviewed o-rings.
  14. If you want to maintenance it more often, then why not.
  15. Or just ordering new switches straight off the bat. Akko cs switches are one of the most budget switches you can order, but are very good for the price.
  16. The page isn't loading for me, so I'm just going to go off based on its specs you listed. The keyboard seems pretty solid for just $60 usd. There are two main types of keycaps which. PBT and ABS. People tend to lean more towards PBT because of its superior overall quality and its sound profile. However, it's also more expensive than ABS because of how its manufactured. Overall, PBT keycaps are a big plus. In regards to the outemu red switches, I've only used them once before on my redragon k552. They weren't bad, but they were noticeably scratchy and had pretty bad spring ping. Pair the spring ping with the metal plate, and you might just have yourself your own pinging instrument. However, after I lubed my outemu switches, they felt so much better and had next to no spring ping whatsoever. But soon after, 5-8 keys stopped registering consistently after owning the keyboard for around 5 months. This is where the akko cs switches come in. I specifically ordered the akko cs purple lavenders; they have no noticeable spring ping, and aren't scratchy at all. I got them for $12 usd for 45 switches. So, I recommend using the outemu switches until they're unusable, then ordering some other switches (if its hotswappable). Personally, I think I would be able to get something better for $60 usd, but this keyboard still seems pretty solid.
  17. Banned for advertisement in regards of the "lttstore".
  18. Akko cs purple lavender swtiches, and some matcha green keycaps. Some switches on my keyboard didn't consistently actuate, so I ordered new ones. Also decided to decorate my keyboard a bit.
  19. The concept is good--if not slightly unoriginal but it's very hard to be original these days, especially in the horror game category imo (I'm not a game dev or anything so I'm just going off my intuition). As long as you don't screw up the execution, it should come out great.
  20. I personally use the claw grip and the palm grip. I'm unsure if the claw grip is the same, or at the very least, similar to the fingertip grip. What I am sure of, however, is that my aim is perfectly stable when using this grip. So I can reasonably say that you will in fact, not burn a hole through your desk on 800 dpi. However, you will burn a hole using 150 dpi, which I had oh so been unknowingly using for the past year. I had only recently switches to 400 dpi, then to 800 dpi. Maybe this explains why 800 dpi is no problem for me, but many other players use 800 dpi, especially in the minecraft community.
  21. Also, you mentioned how it was some "chrappy" mouse, in which I only informed you otherwise. That was the only reason to me mentioning that.
  22. 800 dpi isn't as low as you think. It's mostly all personal preference, but 6000 dpi!!?? How does one navigate anything like that, outside of playing games. I won't argue that it might be an issue with the mouse's firmware, but this happens on a lot more mice than mine. First of all, your analogy is false. It's more like asking to miss the headshot; that is to say, if it we're even true. Is it really all that world-ending to bring your polling rate from 1000hz to 500hz? I'm sure you wouldn't even be able to tell the difference, going off the assumption that you're not some elite world-class gamer.
  23. It's not a deflective mouse either. When I first noticed it happened, I got it replaced but it also happened on the other one. So, I searched the internet and found that if I reduce my polling rate, it would fix the issue. I tried this and it did in fact work.
  24. Actually, it's not. Lowering sensitivity doesn't fix your mouse spiking? I use the default dpi settings, which is 800 dpi. Also I have the mouse it occurs on is the pulsefire haste, which is a very renowned mouse, not just some "Chrappy" mouse that you mentioned.. On the contrary, I've never had this issue on my $15 PikTek t7 mouse. This exact thing has happened to many other people, and lowering the polling rate fixed it. Again, this issue doesn't occur on all games, just most notably in minecraft.
  25. If your mouse spikes in games, then try to turn down your polling rate in your mouse's software! This only works on mice that have its own dedicated software and a setting that can change the polling rate of your mouse sensor. For me, Minecraft is the most notable example of having your polling rate too high, cause random spikes in your sensitivity. I have no clue why this happens, so if anyone knows why please do tell me!
