  1. purchased a new monitor and now that i have 2 i want to put them on a dual monitor arm but they only seem to be vesa compliant where as both my monitors dont mount to theirs stand with vesa its sort of like a slides on at the top and clips at the bottom, to rremove the screen you have to press a button in and tilt. my question is can you find arms with this type of mount as i dont think vesa will fit, anyone got a solution?
  2. so I'm looking to buy a new laptop, its mainly going to be used for productivity stuff but eventually might get used for more. i was wondering what laptop everyone recommends? it has got to be at least i5 or equivalent ryzen (pc snob after building my own gaming pc) must have at least 8gb of ram but would like a laptop that i can swap the ram out for 16gb if possible and must have an SSD but again id like to be able to upgrade that to a 1tb SSD in the future or just add a second drive if that is doable. love the idea of buying one and making it my own with a few upgrades eventually, doesn't need to have a graphics card (be cool if it did but they get pricey). and lastly where is the best place to buy from, I've been looking at pc world cause id love to get a warranty with it Any help is very appreciated
  3. i will try this one out thanks using cmd prompt i think is a little out of my area
  4. so last week i had a long phone call with someone form my college and made a loads of notes on a word document for my college portfolio. Then on saturday i fresh installed windows onto a new ssd i got, i transferred all the documents from my old ssd to a hard drive so i could save them to my new ssd. only problem is the word document with all my college notes on is no where to found, clearly didnt save it to the hard drive. my question is does anyone know if there is a way i can recover the document off of my old ssd even though i have formatted it, i haven't saved anything to the old ssd yet so it shouldn't have been written over
