  1. Oh ok, but is coil whine suddenly appearing randomly (after 4 months of no coil whine) normal? From what I've heard, you either get coil whine or you dont - mine just randomly popped up a few days ago from just reinstalling windows...
  2. Alright so around a month ago I was benchmarking my cpu with Intel XTU and started noticing some coil whine around the cpu area.. I'm fairly certain it was not there before (I built this pc at the start of this year) but it wasn't that loud so I was fine with it. Well today, I decided to reinstall Windows and I started hearing some coil when when moving my mouse. I ran the heaven benchmark and I suddenly started hearing very loud coil whine. This new coil whine was definitely not there before today. Can anything be done about the coil whine? also, why did the coil whine just appear suddenly, is that normal? Also, I reinstalled windows because of an issue where I would get stuck on the mobo splash screen after switching the psu power on, however this issue is still here (it boots perfectly fine if I use the reset button or I keep the PSU switched on). Any help would be appreciated. 3. I'm not sure but I dont think its the fan themselves since the fans spin in game as long as i run the software before playing. The gpu seems to work normally if i run the precision software at startup
  4. EVGA RTX 2080 SUPER FTW3 I am having a strange issue, my gpu occasionally doesn't spin its 2nd and 3rd fan in game, allowing the gpu to reach around 85 degrees. This has happened around 3 times now in the past 2 months and it fixes after I launch the evga precision software, but it randomly does it again. Also, since I was playing at around 85-90 degrees for a short while, would that cause any damages or affect anything? Any help would be appreciated.
