  1. I tried pretty much every voltage up to 1.45 and nothing worked. I was able to sell my r7 2700 for a really good price so I bought a r7 3700x and now it works perfectly. After a bunch of research it seems that the 2700 only supports around 2666mhz memory while using 4 sticks. 2 sticks however have no problem running at 3200mhz. Now with the 3700x I'm running at 3200mhz stable with 4 sticks.
  2. Great idea! Looking forward to it lol
  3. Right, ok thanks for the help! Will definitely take a look at my options
  4. Thanks for the quick response. Ok that makes sense. I originally bought the 2nd kit because it was on sale and figured that I would eventually want 32gb's in the future for 4k video editing as I currently use about 80% while editing 1080p videos now (and multi tasking) I was also going to upgrade the CPU soon. Was thinking of the Ryzen 5 3600. If I'm able to find a CPU rated for higher memory frequencies do you think I would have a better shot at getting all 4 dimms to run at 3200mhz?
  5. Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, have been lurking around for a little bit, but this is my first time posting. I've been having an issue ever since I added another 16gb's of memory to my system. (currently sitting at 32gb's) Previously I was running at 16gb's of corsair vengeance pro rgb @3200mhz C16 with no issues. I had to up the voltage a little to get it there (I think I was sitting at around 1.25V) I recently bought another kit of the exact same ram, speed and all, and now for some reason I am having trouble even running stable at 2666mhz. (games crashing, pc errors) I've tried upping the dram voltage to around 1.45V~ but have had no success keeping it stable. I've tried using Thaiphoon and DRAM Calculator to get the correct settings to input into my bios, but that also seems to have no effect. (it was recommending 3200mhz with a 1.35v. (I also input all the other settings it recommended)) I'm running on the newest bios that was released last month, new mobo chipset driver that was released this month, and have the following core components in my case... -AORUS X570 Elite MOBO -Ryzen 7 2700 -8x4gb's Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB @3200mhz CL16 -Gigabyte 750W bronze PSU -Gigabyte 2070 super (not that it matters i don't think) I don't have an OC on my CPU, just trying to get the ram to run at the advertised speed. I also attempted to use Ryzen Master as I've heard that I helped some people with a similar issue, but I cannot download the application as every time I try it tells me that I already have a newer version installed on my computer. By no means am I tech savvy at all, have just been following helpful guides on here and on youtube. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Corey
