On the topic of removing as many wires as possible, Linus mentioned that you guys hadn't heard of a wireless display technology. However the tech does exists and is displayed in a semi-recent video by ETA Prime. While I don't think it would have made this specific desk any cleaner than it already is, it is certainly an interesting piece of kit.

On the topic of Bedrock or Java for the LTT MC server. You can have both! There is a proxy plugin (has standalone version as well) for Java edition. It is called GeyserMC. Essentially what it does is translates the Java server and mirrors it on a different port so that any Bedrock client can join. I've just put it on my server and in conjunction with the Floodgate plugin (which allows Bedrock accounts to be authenticated on a Java server), it works quite well! It is still under heavy development so there are some glitches with Bedrock player movement and particles and things. However other than that it works way smoother than you would think!
