  1. Check the integrity of your game files (if you launch via Steam).
  2. Enjoy it man!
  3. You are definitely right on that... oh but my gf is gonna be pissed that I redo my entire rig XD
  4. I bet my entire rig you are wrong on that. You resonate from the nice assumption that brands like Nvidia care about their customers and only provide an update after a set amount of years. Although I wish you were right, I guarantee you that the 30 series will be released this year or 2021 not a year later. Technological improvements accelerate every single year and brands like Intel and Nvidia only care about money. Just look at the RTX 20 series. I bought and RTX 2070 when they came out and litterally 4 months later... BOOM Super series came out... like wtf.
  5. Yes, my i5-8600K is bottlenecking me. I'd prefer not to buy a new mb for all the new CPU's but then again, for GPU 30 series I will wait... so either I buy an i7-9700K or an i9-9900K however the latter is quite expensive... oh decisions decisions... It's not that I can't afford it, it's more like; should I?
  6. I found it strange as well, but NVIDIA is doing an event on the 14th of May and many speculate, the 30 series will then be announced. Furthermore, China is long back up and running again. I don't know about their factories in particular but China is full on producing again. So... Maybe...
  7. I would love to but then I would have to upgrade my MB too considering the 10700K uses the new LGA slot with no backwards compatibility my wallet and gf would probably not be to happy with me if I spend over 1K on a new GPU, CPU, and MB
  8. So, is it advised for me to go forwards with buying an i7-9700K and waiting on the RTX 30 series to upgrade GPU or wait with both?
  9. Thank you for that very quick response! There were a lot of rumours that I read out there that PCIE 4.0 was not going to be backwards compatible. Then again, I am still learning . thanks again!
  10. Hi guys, Before anyone gets angry at me; I am no tech genius, last year I built my first pc and my pc knowledge is still... meh. So, I have been seeing a lot of news out there for the RTX 30 series (which I am absolutely hyped for) and I understand all this news is mostly just 'rumours' and 'estimations'. However, let's say they actually get announced this month and released in June. I have an 'asus rog z390-e gaming' MB which has a PCIE 3.0 GPU port. Will this be able to take a RTX 30 series, meaning, will they switch to PCIE 4.0 with no backwards compatibility or will it still use PCIE 3.0. I know that probably none of you know for sure as it hasn't been announced yet, but what is your best guess? Also, I know I can't run the new 10 series intel CPU's (I cry). but with the new RTX 30 series coming out, I'm trying to see if I will have to upgrade my CPU, MB, and GPU or just CPU and GPU (my current CPU is too underpowered i5 8600K and would upgrade to i7 9700K) to run a RTX 30 series - if compatible) Hope this question makes sense
  11. Considering upgrading to a 2080 Super and i7 9600K to get system ready for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Cyberpunk🤔

  12. Yeah, I was thinking about i7 too. I just had a family member buy me a Corsair (4x8) 32Gb 3200Mhz memory kit for my Birthday so I'm super happy about that
  13. Thank you so much man! The only reason I am doubting about switching to AMD is because it would be such a big pc overhaul, but I'll think about it. I prefer AMD for sure
  14. Hi everyone, I'm not new to LTT and the Youtube vids, but I am new to this community/forum. So... Hi, nice to meet you all! I am writing this post as I'm not sure where my pc is lacking but I want to upgrade it. I can't choose between RAM, GPU/CPU, or monitor upgrade, or just making it aesthetically more pleasing to look at. I would love any of your input as I'm open to it all! This is my second PC that I've built and although I'm happy with it and follow, LTT, JayzTwoCents, Kyle (bitwit), GamersNexus, etc. I'm not even close to being a pro... I use my pc mainly for games (FPS, Strategy and storyline games) I either play story driven games or games with friends (FPS) as I'm a very social gamer... I also use my pc for work (nothing heavy load though) Also, the first two pictures (with the black and red case) is my pc now - which I kinda hate in aesthetics. The other picture of the Black and white case was my favorite pc which was waaaay more aesthetically pleasing, I miss it. Anyway, my max upgrade budget would be 1,000 EUR although I would prefer sticking closer to 850 EUR.
