  1. We recently switched to Frontier internet at 500mbps. We have a pc using ethernet that is running at full speed, but my pc uses a wireless adapter that supports that speed, yet only runs up to around 110mbps download, 50mbps upload. I know wireless won't always run at the full speed, but this slow? Is this normal? If not, how can I fix this?
  2. So I have a ASUS P8H61 mobo with a i5 2320 in it, and I have a i5 3550p lying around, I put it in and it didn't post, I put the 2320 back in, everything else untouched, and it posted. I also found that my BIOS is out of date and might need an update before putting it in. I also looked on the supported CPU list and saw a 3550 but not a 3550p. I also noticed some of the pins are bent, but it woks fine even with the bent pins and 2320. So is it compatibility or the bent pins? I know I would have to update the BIOS before I put in a 3rd gen.

    PSU Noise

Man, well I am gonna need an cheap option with at least 500w. And obviously a good one.
  5. A few months ago, my FSP AX500 PSU started making a noise sounding like a coil whine. I thought nothing of it and left it alone. But then, yesterday the noise got louder. This a really good 15 year old PSU, but should that be a concern? Btw, it has been siting in my dad's old build for years, and when I got a shitty prebuilt, I started using it, then I built a new pc with the PSU.
  6. Sounds like it is a software related issue.
  7. Did it only do that once? Try doing compressing the files again.
  8. From what I could find for event id 41, it can be caused if the system stops responding, crashes, or loses power unexpectedly. Did the power cord come lose? Or did you mistakenly press the reset button? (If you do have a reset button.)
  9. Not a bad case, but a DIY PC J180-W (Also in black, which is J180-B) would also be good. It's cheaper, and still looks nice. I'm using this one and I love it. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/6rDzK8/diypc-case-j180w
