I'm trying to get and old game to work, and I suspect it isn't working because my graphics card has too much memory (I have a GTX 970), so is there any way to limit the the GPU's memory temporarily, like you can do with your normal memory using MSConfig.

I think of myself as quite careful on the internet, but having no antivirus whatsoever is still probably a bad idea. My main gripe with antivirus software usually is when they are constantly throwing messages in my face about updates, viruses found etc. I obviously also don't want the antivirus software to be slowing down my computer, constantly running stuff in the background. So, based purely on being light-weight and discrete, what antivirus software would you recommend?

So I'm looking into buying a new monitor, as i'm currently only running a 22" at 1080p (60Hz). I've considered getting either a bigger monitor, higher resolution or faster refresh rate. I've ruled out higher resolution, as I think they're too expensive, and I'm gonna buy a 4K monitor once they become mainstream anyways. So I'm looking at these two monitors: 24" @120hz (1080p) - Will cost: 1900 DKK. (About 350$). 27" @60Hz (1080p) - Will cost: 1563 DKK. (About 290$). As you can see, the 120Hz will be more expensive, which is a significant point, as I'm on a budget. Currently I don't game too often, I spend more time browsing the web and such, but I definitely do game a bit as well, so that might mean something. So which monitor would you recommend i get? Is 120Hz very noticeable, and will it be worth the extra $$$, even though i game as often as many of you guys? So i installed a new SSD. It showed up in my BIOS, so i booted to Windows (on my original SSD). My new drive didn't show up in Windows explorer so i opened device manager, and it showed up there. It said it had the latest drivers, and everything was good. Then i opened disk management, and it showed up there (as blank, but the capacity fit). I tried to right click, but was given no other options than "Delete volume" and "Help". The other 10 or so options were greyed out. I then hit "Delete volume" in desperation, and now i can't get it to show up there. How do i format/partition my drive to work properly? To sum up where the drive shows up: BIOS: Yes. Explorer: No. Device Manager: Yes Disk Management: No.

So my motherboard is the ASUS P8Z77-V LX. I've heard of instances before, where people had ran SLI on a board that didn't show the SLI feature, simply because the motherboard manufacturer didn't license it. Do you think it will actually run if i put two GTX 560 Ti's in it? I mean i know it doesn't say it supports it, but if i try it, will it work? Have any of you tried SLI on this motherboard? Also, another question. Since this motherboard says it doesn't support SLI, there was not an SLI-bridge included, will it work without an SLI-bridge? (I know i can get one for like 2 bucks on Ebay, i was just wondering.)

So currently i have one 24-inch monitor. Now i want to get a secondary display. Should i then get a new 24-inch monitor, and run two 24-inch monitors side by side, or should i get a 27-inch monitor, and then use my old 24-inch monitor as my secondary monitor? - So basically: 24" & 24" or 24" & 27" The natural thing to do, would be to get the 27-inch monitor, so that i get a bigger monitor, but i like when things are symmetrical :) What do you think?

So i'm currently running this build: 3570k @4.5Ghz 16GB @1333Mhz GTX 560Ti @975Mhz 128GB Kingston SSDNow V100 1TB 7200rpm So i use the SSD as my boot drive, as well as for storing my most frequently played games. The 1TB harddrive is used for storing other games, documents, videos, programs etc. The problem is that my current SSD is only Sata2 (300 Mb/s). So i was thinking about buying a Samsung Series 840 120GB ssd (Sata 3, 600 Mb/s). Then i would use that for my boot drive and most important games, while my old SSD would be used for other stuff. Do you think that buying the SSD is worth the upgrade? I mean, i should be getting double the speed, and a much more modern drive. What do you guys reckon i should do? Should i invest in the 840, or perhaps something completely different?
