Hi there. I just bought second-hand pc from ebay. Seller is claiming everything was working before he posted it, but I just had "no signal detected". PC Specs: Ryzen 3 1300 Rx 470 4gb Sapphire 8gb Kingston 2666 Evga 600w a320m-pro I swapped rx470 with rx590 and everything was working as it should. However, rx470 still was not working in my main pc. I tried it with 3 different monitors as well different cables HDMI, DVI and Display Port. Only once I managed to get some kind of "feedback" from the rx470 which was white/pink artefact screen. I didnt try to update the BIOS since newer card was working just fine on a320. I try both modes of BIOS on gpu (V Bios switch) with the same results. Just want to ensure that gpu in fact is faulty or I am missing something specific about this card? Thank you

Thank you for you help. It was the cable/port. As soon I swapped to dp it is working without any issues.

I said said I just ordered one should have it tomorrow. I double checked cable and it is dual link. Port on gpu should be ok as it is brand new card (less than month). Maybe it is port on the screen. I will update with new cables tomorrow.

Hi there. I have been fighting with it whole day, just got second-hand ASUS VG248QE 144hz. It does work on all refresh rates besides 144hz. Whenever, I try to switch to 144hz or play league of legends (on any refresh rate) it turns to that weird grey flickering screen. However, if I alt+F4 when lol is opened then it will revert back to desktop. The same is when switching to 144hz just have to wait until revert changes time out to get normal desktop. I tried playing Doom Eternal, Valorant, Path of Exile and it does work at 120hz. Fresh install of drivers didn’t help. I DVI dual-link for this screen and ordered dp cable to see if that’s the issue. I got another 2 screens connected (60hz) and both work without any issues at the same time. I’m out of ideas how to troubleshoot any suggestions? Hi there. I'm trying to put together pc on almost non existing budget which is £300 for family. Main aim is to play most f2p games such as fortnite. My idea is to get Fujitsu Esprimo P556 (i5-6400, 8gb, 1tb) which i can get for 120. Upgrade Psu for corsair vs650, get ssd and new case. Which will add up to 270. I got spare r9 290 4gb lying around. Do you think its viable option or should I wait for some second hand pc? maybe you got better idea. Thank you
