I have a 7950 thats getting to the end of its cycle now, its a real work horse and hasn't let me down yet. Would be really nice being able to utilise my 21:9 monitor at more than 30 hz for gaming!

I would love the Excalibur V2. I've never been able to justify owning a mechanical keyboard despite really wanting one and the Excalibur looks incredible! -

I need a new laptop for my uni work because transferring 3GB files between uni and home will get irritating pretty quickly. However, I have not looked at laptops since the lenovo X220T was launched. I am a games developer and a learning artist so i have a few requirements: must be able to run the latest games (even if they must be on lowest graphical settings) i would very much like it to be able to be drawn on (like the x220t) so i was looking at something in the yoga series but i dont know if there are better alternatives it cant be more than a 15'' display (the lighter the better) As an aside question; is it possible to get any laptops like this without an operating system (i am a student so saving money would be great!) thanks for any advice and my apologies if this is the incorrect subforum.

I have noticed on several games that my performance is much less than it should be. For one example sub 30 fps on arma2 where my friend gets over 60 with ease with a very similar setup. (this is after trying all the setting fixes to make it faster, there is little to no improvement.) My specs: CPU: AMD phenom II x6 1090T @ 3.22GHz GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7950 by XFX MOBO: ASRock M3A77ODE RAM: Corsair 8GB My guess is it is the motherboard, but I do not know why. If you could recommend one component to change for the biggest increase in performance it would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
