  1. I was using my PC with integrated graphics for a while and it dedicated 3gb to the integrated graphics. I have a graphics card now and I want to use all of my RAM now because I'm at 90%+ usage when I stream Warzone. Is there a way to do that? BIOS/UEFI maybe?
  2. Mainly just houses/buildings from about 1,000-4,000 square feet. So definitely a 32gb or 24gb ram kit at 2666MHz or even 3000MHz?
  3. I have 2 spare x8 slots. Would that be alright? And I overclocked my 8700k to 5GHz and as you know I have a 6600XT slightly overclocked. The psu I have is a Corsair SF600 (600 watt 80+ Gold). Would I have headroom for another 45+ watts?
  4. Lol he's paying me to do it because he wants to build one. He's also paying a builder's fee so there's that. The PC isn't going to BE top tier but I want it to look the part without spending too much. A 1050 is definitely an option to get for the build though.
  5. Holy sh** you can do that?? Is the encoder on the K600 good for 1080p 60fps or 720p 60fps @5000-6000 bitrate?
  6. Budget (including currency): Max $600-$650-ish Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: He's a construction worker so he might be using 3D generating software for large projects, and other basic computing, no hard gaming. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Maybe only integrated graphics are needed for the 3D generating like UHD 630 or AMD equivalent? Maybe even a GTX 1050 or something? Need a full part list. I'm going to be buying a Corsair CV650 for about $60 for the build by the way.
  7. i thought the bitrate was only based off of internet? usage without warzone open is about 3%, usage without streaming with warzone open is anywhere from 50%-60%
  8. I have an i7 8700k and I recently purchased an RX 6600XT for a price that is inhumane price/performance (not the point right now lol) and when playing Warzone off-stream with particle settings on high, everything else on low, I get 130-175 fps. But when I stream using HVEC/AMD I get 90-100fps. My CPU usage was too high (80% to 95%)to stream with x264 at 6000 bitrate at 1080p 60fps. That was with just OBS and Warzone open. I couldn't open Chrome or iTunes for music without my PC lagging it's arse off, stream also lagging. So I went with HVEC/AMD at 720p60fps @6000 bitrate and that was when I was getting 90-100 fps.
  9. There should be a splitter included that has three 4-pin fan connectors and the end of it plugs into the cpu fan header. since there's two fans, you'd only need to use 2 of the 3 connectors that the splitter has. I have the same cooler and it was fairly easy to put in. Just took some time
  10. I have an i7 8700k that I may be overclocking to 5GHz and I could potentially be getting a 6700XT Founders card. I have a Corsair SF 600 (SFX 600 watt power supply because of Lian Li O11 Mini case). Would I be able to run my CPU and GPU at stock and will I be able to OC my CPU or would that be absolutely pushing it?
  11. I've been looking for graphics cards and I've seen a lot of good options. I was thinking about a 2060 and a 1080 ti but things didn't go through with those. I want to buy an EVGA version of the 1070 ti (used). Is the EVGA version a good version, performance wise?
  12. What current CPU do you have? I think your real question is "Is the 3700x worth the upgrade from my [insert your current CPU]?"
  13. I was really thinking that. My main reason for even considering the 1080 Ti was because I recently changed my PC case to the Lian Li O11 Mini White (not Snow Edition) with white cable extensions and everything and the EVGA 1080 Ti would look much better in it than the MSI 2060. But I guess I shouldn't over spend THAT much just for aesthetic purposes.
  14. So I'm seeing a used MSI RTX 2060 for about $250 and an EVGA GTX 1080 Ti for $550. Which one should I get? I have an i7 8700k which I will be overclocking to 5GHz with my NZXT X53 cooler and I will be playing Warzone mostly and streaming it and I looked up some gameplay on YouTube and saw that the 1080 Ti was slightly better (talking about 40 more average fps). The 40 extra average fps is probably not worth to buy a $550 card over a $250 one. The prices in the pictures attached are different than what i mentioned above because this app taxes
  15. If an Intel processor has "F" in it's name, it doesn't have an iGPU.
  16. Ah, nice. So theoretically I could pair my 8700k with, say, a 3070 and it'll be pushing to the near limit of my psu?
  17. Title says it all for the most part. I have a Corsair SF600 80+ Gold (SFX power supply). I'm about to purchase a used 1080 Ti (not saying the price because i will get some crucial opinions on here about it). But could my 600 SFX hold up with the cpu and gpu combination?
  18. No i'm using integrated graphics in the meantime until i get a graphics card in about a week from now so i was just wondering if i could have an alternate until then
  19. I want an HDMI splitter that'll let me use two of my monitors at the same time. I'm seeing options on Amazon but I don't know which ones are to switch from one monitor at a time or 2 at the same time (which is what I'm looking for)
  20. I need 7 case fans (120mm or 140mm) for 3 top exhaust, 3 bottom intake, and 1 back exhaust. Preferably fans with a white frame and white LEDs (or rgb doesnt matter, i'll be using white light). I don't want to spend too much on them, about $150 max, and I want them to be quiet as well.
  21. Oh yes, extensions are fine. Forgot to mention that. Could do a "lifehack" and maybe heat them up with a hairdryer a little bit to install them in my pc how I want it or heat isn't the best idea for something like this?
  22. I don't want to spend much AT ALL on minimal mods for my pc. I have a new case arriving (White Lian Li O11 Mini (Not Snow Edition)) and my setup has a purple/blue color scheme. My new PSU I bought (needed a new smaller one for the mini case) is a Corsair SF600 - SFX. Is the screenshot below a good cable kit for the price? Or any other recommendations under $30 for cables?
