  1. The prices from pcpartpicker arent that good. Im looking for a gen3 drive as compared to gen4, for my use case, its not worth paying more for. The P31 You mentioned looks good but at 150 for 2tb is quite steep. the sudden increase for all ssd's on amazon after november got me crazyy
  2. you wouldnt need a 4060 to play simple games, unless your looking for longevity (like 5 years of simple games, and i dont know what you define as simple) if your not video editing or doing any productivity other than microsoft office, you could do away with a 6500xt or a rtx 2060 for way less.
  3. he doesnt need an aftermarket cooler when he has a free good stock cooler from amd on the 5600. If he had a hotter chip then yes he would need one
  4. How does internet have to do anything with computer specs other than the wifi/ethernet chip. if the newer laptop has a better chip like wifi6e and higher quality ethernet port, it would have better intermittance than an older desktop with probably a 2 dollar wifi usb stick. However yes you should change the cabling to something usable in the long run, perhaps even ethernet cabling.
  5. check your power settings and see if its in power saving or whatever, and in task manager set your rtx 3050 gpu priority to the game your currently playing, do you have anything else running in the background?
  6. seems good on paper, triple check if your motherboard and cpu support that specific ram and put in your whole build into pcpartpicker to see if there are any warnings or issues that may arise with connections and such.
  7. maybe try factory resetting pc? perhaps drivers are goofy or something messed with the registry
  8. sn580 is 148 and the mp44l doesnt ship to me or is from us shall wait till drives go cheaper again
  9. thanks for the insight, also why bro whipping out the archives in the library of alexandria for info.

  11. Still would be quite expensive and considering the manufacturing costs, i dont think they will. its a niche product as is, intended for people to ball out.
  12. Oh shit i just realised that even on the amd website https://www.amd.com/en/products/apu/amd-ryzen-7-7700 the chipset only supports up to 5200mhz... that's probably the issue, i have glanced at some solutions but they require you to get into the bios first and enable expo or whatever. so yeah.. whoopsie daisy, the 7700 doesnt support higher than 5200mhz officialy.
