  1. My GMMK Compact should be here for on Friday. Snatched one up when they had their one day sale. I got it with Gateron Browns because they are the switch I have liked the most out of the ones I have tried. I would love to try some Zealios 65g, but haven’t gotten any yet. I also ordered a KBD67mkii and case from KBDFans, but I know that isn’t coming for a while.
  2. Let us know how you like it.
  3. I will second the vote for the Arctic Freezer. I got a 360 and I love it. The fact that all of the power is run off of one fan header cable (pulp, fans and all) makes it very easy to wire and cable manage. Might be a plus for your small case. Also, the VRM fan, while possibly a bit of a gimmick, can’t hurt. I have put my hand near mine while the computer was running and felt some air movement from it.
  4. I got an Arctic Freezer II 360 aio and I love it. Very easy to install and the instructions online are animated, which is a nice step up. I also like that all of the fan and aio control is powered off of one fan header connection, saving you from a spiderweb of cables to attach.
  5. My first interaction with a mechanical keyboard (outside of using them when I was younger and that was all there was) was a year ago when a coworker brought in one of his ‘old gaming keyboards’ to replace his at work. The first time I used it, I was in love. He quit not long after and took it with him. I tracked him down online recently and figured out switches it had (MX Brown) Now, a year later, I am waiting for my first mechanical to come in today. I ordered a Durgod Taurus K320 with MX Brown switches. I am already looking into a second board. The idea of a 60 or 65% is appealing. I want to get a demo set of switches to find what I may like more. I am leaning towards a Gloriois GMMK at the moment. I feel like I have slipped down a very dangerous rabbit hole.
  6. I noticed Newegg sent me an email about drives that are rumored to have this technology, selling them for cheap. hmmmmmm
  7. That most likely is the one they are taking about. It was the motherboard I was going to get, but they were out when I went to get it. Ended up with the Aorus Ultra on sale. Pretty similar from what I understand.
  8. I am about to pull the trigger on a new build. Considering the news that the new 4000 series will be the last cpu set to use AM4 (from what I have heard) and I am not looking to build something new for a while, am I better to get the X570 board on my build or save a bit and get a good B450 like a Tomahawk? The computer will be used mostly for workflow and for some gaming. I figure I should be able to upgrade to a 4th gen series Ryzen if I want to, or maybe a 3950x if the prices drop, with the X570, but I am not sure if I would need to. Thanks.
