Is this CMOS battery at least 5 years old? It might need to be replaced if so.

Apparently Prusa is great at keeping secrets because they just kind of released this thing with no warning... idk They released three YouTube videos yesterday (all of which are below) showcasing the printer and its capabilities. And it costs....$800?! And that's if you want to assemble it. It costs $1,100 if you want it pre assembled..... It does have a significantly improved UI though. And in my opinion, its good. Its available to buy at their website.
    Features/Improvements
    1. 90% of the parts have been changed or improved
    2. Thicker Z axis rod
    3. Their new extruder they call...Nextruder, which comes with Auto levelling, and a load cell sensor. Instead of using an auto levelling thingie on the side, the extruder taps the print bed
    4. Completely redesigned 32 bit UI which includes Ethernet, Wifi, A heatbreak thermistor, hardware overheating protection, overcurrent protection, dual voltage monitoring, an actual color screen, An ARM CPU, USB-C, and USB-A capability, it can also display a 3D model of the print.
    4. Comes with Ethernet, and Wi-Fi.
    5. A stiffer frame with vibration dampening.
    6. A customizable RGB status bar.
    7. Improved 3D printed parts.
    8. They claim to have an "Always perfect first layer"
    9. Ability to quick swap nozzles, it comes with an adapter for aftermarket nozzles as well
    10. Filament sensor
    11. Extruder uses improved planetary gear system to drive filament. And has an exceptionally large gear compared to other extruder systems so that more of the filament surface area can be gripped.
    12. New draft mode for rapid prototyping. Prusa claims a 3D benchy takes 20 minutes in draft mode on the MK4 rather than the 81 minute time on the MK3
    13. Encrypted remote printing software that comes with the printer. They call it Prusa Connect.
    14. Completely redesigned customizable GUI with lots of QOL features
    15. Extremely quiet. Operation from ~3ft away reads at 43 decibels.
    16. "Exceptional print quality" (lol)
    17. Able to print with PLA, PTEG, ASA, PA11 (Nylon), FLEX, and PCCF.
    18. "The MK4 Has New No-VFA Motors (vertical fine artifacts)" (You can actually see the difference!)
    19. Magnetic print sheets
    20. Automatic Filament Loading (Don't need to use UI just push the filament into the extruder and it eats it like a DVD player eats a DVD)
    21. "The MK4 Has Over 1,000,000 Test Hours On Our Print Farm"
    22. Repairability
    23. Power loss recovery (Print can resume after power loss)
    24. Built in self testing for all axis.
    25. Its open source
    26. YOU CAN UPGRADE YOUR MK3 TO AN MK4? WITH THREE OPTIONS IN BETWEEN? WHAT IS THIS... FRAMEWORK?
    27. Upgrades: New MMU (Filament Switcher.) (Print up to 5 colors on the same layer) and you can upgrade from the MMU2 to the new MMU3

Quader199 got a reaction from BigFoot_05 in Build to match M2 Macbook pro in video editing, is it viable?
It was already stated above as well but the new Macbook Pros are very hard to beat for that work. I am a diehard PC user but I even bit the bullet and switched to the new Macbook Pros for my editing for the performance and accurate screen - but I was also looking for more portability too with traveling. If you know that you are going to be working with the Apple ecosystem anyway, it can also save you some headache when/if you need to share certain data, files, etc.

    Manscapped lawnmower 3.0
I bought that, and it stopped working after 1 use. I contacted support and they be sent me a replacement that died after 2 weeks. Now the third died on my hands after about 6 months. I have used it normally, charged it at low wattage and I m really really careful on cleaning it with water. Arm I have 3 e waste products at home.
Also when you but it, there is a hidden subscription for about 10€ per month for a useless part (blades)

Photo of their waterproof. I ve washed it a few times in low pressure water from a sink. They did a good job keeping the water inside I guess

Quader199 reacted to GhostRoadieBL in HELP Please !! ANYONE, EVERYONE ?
okay, let's start by fixing some of this build,
    - WoW is CPU ghz limited and not very well optimized for threads so the TR3960X will not be great for that use case.
    https://rk.edu.pl/en/analyzing-world-warcraft-multi-core-scaling/
after 6 cores the CPU utilization flatlines so find a high clockspeed CPU (typically Xeon) to gain more fps
    - TRX40 Designare has 4 of the 16x pcie slots so your 5 gpu (4x titan and a 1080) setup will not fit. Great motherboard, no space for more than 4 cards.
    - 4x32GB kit will be larger but slower than a higher speed 64gb set so go with 2 sets of corsair vengeance 2x16gb 5000mhz RAM with the cooling fan for each.
    - 4 titan XP will not scale into WoW, a pair of Titan RTX will be around the same price and net you much much higher gains, a pair of 2080ti's will have a higher uplift compared to another 4x titans
    https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-Titan-Xp-vs-Nvidia-RTX-2080-Ti/m265423vs4027
    - best option is a pair of 3090s in Nvlink for approximately 2x gains over 4x titan XPs even at 8k
    - 1500W psu is plenty based on the hardware you want will not be maxed at all.
    - SSD as an add-in card Raid-0 will outrun any pci-e gen4 ssd, ideally an Asus Hyper M.2 with 4x Samsung 970 evo plus's

the SSDs are a this or that, either an optane drive for latency gains over NVME or the 4x 2tb nvme in an add-in card for high speed but latency will take a hit, huge space though.

Don't waste your time on garbage dongles. Same thing goes with wireless mice and their dongles, you don't want to get a cheap one because most likely you will notice issues with it.

If that's not the priority though, I'd skip the PCIe 4.0 SSD firstly, then maybe dropping to 32GB, swapping out the 3950X for a 12-core and ditching the 3070 out in favour of something like a 2060 KO.

I've also used the Thermaltake Versa H18 TG [Blue Build Post 2018] and the Coolermaster Q300L [RGB post 2019] build posts can be found in my signature.. Both cases were good enough for the prices I paid for them (Though I got admittedly over paranoid about the Q300L and cut holes in it)

Its one of my most favorite cases. Its easy to build in, cable management is decent, build quality is great for the price. The only thing i personally dont like is the stripe from top tot bottom at the front. I bought 3 RGB fans but the right side gets blocked a little, but other than that its a great case.
