What about gpu? no mention of if he has one already or not this would also determine if he needs a more powerful power supply. That being said the Ryzen 5 3400G is on for $299USD at amazon.com

Just ordered my parts for my first ever new pc build. I started to build back in 2000 my first build was a pentium II then slowly moved up to 486 and pentium 4.
