  1. I had a problem where my pc kept crashing (which started out of nowhere and never used to happen) a few days ago, I tried many ways to fix but nothing worked so I just factory reset it, now whenever I try to open edge to re-download my programs it keeps opening and closing instantly and doesn’t let me use it. Is there a fix for this, any help is appreciated.

  2. Hello, whenever i play games, my computer randomly freezes and the only way to get out of the freeze is to shutdown the pc, my pc has good enough specs to play games and i dont know why this is happening, it never used to happen until about a week ago. If you do it via the upgrade available in the Dev channel, no, it will do an inplace upgrade which keeps your files.

That said, I wouldn't advise installing Windows 11 on a PC with anything you care about on it. It's a dev preview release that's not finished and not ready for use in production.

Okay thanks for the help, have a good day...or night:)

"Yes". It's a niche and well most CAN display at that ratio not all do it well. I've run into a fair share of games that just stretch their camera or give a wide angle lens view. For gaming I always still recommend the good old 16:9 monitors.

As for op the Gigabyte G27Q is in budget here and has a better panel than the viesonic it is "only" 144hz but there is not discernable difference between 165 and 144hz so nothing lost really.

the gigabyte one is cheaper than the viewsonic one, but both are on sale so the gigabyte one is slightly more but fits within budget

Specific model? If both runs the same panel, ill go for the 27 incher.

ultrawide (apparently uses samsung va panel):https://www.mwave.com.au/product/qsm-q34chbwqhd-34-100hz-lcd-eled-curved-gaming-monitor-ac40722

27inch (va also i realised it on sale for 100 less but normally its the same price):https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/monitors/25plus-inch/87877-vx2718-2kpc-mhd

Did you plug the fans into the controller, and plug the controller into the motherboard (and the SATA power)

i cant seem to find where the controller is in my case, do you have any idea where it could be

Personally I would go for the rtx 2060, if you can manage to find one in stock at a fair price that is

The rtx 2060 ko from evga is a few dollars cheaper than the gigabyte gaming oc 5600xt

I have no idea how you came to that conclusion...

"I had a 5600XT that broke, so i'm going to take it back and get a new card, should i get another 5600xt or something like a 2060 or 1660ti?"

They are referring to performance, you're reading into a context that isn't there.

Thank you for understanding the question

Rogue DOA items exist with any product... one bad example is NOT indicative of every card being a bad one.

Even Rolls Royces break down - it just never makes the news...

I never said that, i just said is the rtx 2060 or 1660 ti better than the 5600xt

Are you happy to accept that one faulty example of a card is as much a fluke as a total bust?

No im just asking if those other 2 are better and if i should buy them instead

If you want to still go with a 5600XT, get a Sapphire Pulse or Powercolor Red Dragon, as those come with the 14Gbps vBIOS out of the box, meaning it performs about on par with a 2060. Without that, it's closer to the 1660 Super or 1660Ti.

1.I live in australia and i cant find any powercolour cards

    2. Sapphire pulse model is very expensive where i live for some reason

  11. Hello i built my pc and it worked fine for a few days then it started crashing after a few minutes, turns out the gpu was faulty (it was a gigabyte gaming oc triple fan rx 5600 xt). I want to return it but idk if i should get another rx 5600 xt or a different card like the rtx 2060 or gtx 1660 ti

It doesn’t turn on my friend, fans don’t spin at all, the only thing I get out of it is the red led on my case power button and my headphones lighting up

This happened to me once and then i unplugged the psu and plugged it again and it worked fine, have you tried that
