  1. I recently made a machine and installed ubuntu 14.04 on it. I overclocked my 5820k to 3.9gz and ran prime95 for 36 hours and then decided the system looked good. I also have 8gb at 2400mhz and a 500gb mushikin ssd the issues began after i installed android studio and did some coding, i didnt run or build. After work I come home to find android studio had crashed and root directory was reporting that it was short on space. I find that i have 426 free space on root and decide that that is not the issue. However while searching for core dumps i find that android had some fairely large dumps at 39000mb and some that were 4800mb later on i ran hdparm -Tt /dev/sda the results are Timing cached reads: 2 MB in 26.98 seconds = 75.90 kB/sec Timing buffered disk reads: 2 MB in 30.33 seconds = 67.52 kB/sec My sata cords seem to be firmly connected but my boot speads, load speeds and web browsing speeds are horrid! it was running just fine during the prime 95 test. since i am new to linux all i can really do is trace my footsteps and all i did was install android studio and then found that it had crashed with reports of low partition space. I am going to bed now and have work tomorrow but any suggestions would be very helpful. I am very upset at the moment.
  2. who and how am i attacking? I am just tired of seeing the same thing about ubisoft games, you'd think ubisoft was the only game producer, there are plenty of other games with fantastic support and innovation. unless your that one person who has played every game, or neeeds to play a new AC every 6 months
  3. there are plenty of games out that can be 'new' to somebody. perhaps expand your horizons. ppl need to have the newest games, even if they are no good. we are just allowing ubisoft to do this to us
  4. we are all aware of the current mess yet ppl keep asking the same questions, should i buy acu or fc4. there are plenty of other games/companies that deserve our money that we can get
  5. surely there are some games that are known to work and are very good. just stop buying anything new for now. the game industry needs to get the hint, some companies are fine however. but we'eve all been talking about the same things today.
  6. how do you like your teksyndicate glass? mine broke fairly easily. the glass is thin
  7. why do ppl ask for advice but fail to give context, sure pc looks good
  8. this will most def affect the pricing, as the quote mentioned. also you can never have a 'BEST' gpu when theres always one right around the corner. altho in my opinion amd flagship is usually way worth the money.
  9. also android games get eclipse and write games with opengles and just make little games and expand as you go. develop a meaningful framework to be the start of a game engine
