See this would have been an exellent solution, but my headphones have always been plugged into the back of my pc, in the rear io audio jacks. The problem literally just begun after taking out my gpu for maintainance, and when i put it back in and turned on my pc, i stopped getting sound. I will try messing with my fan headers and see what happens. Thanks for taking the time to help me out.

Ever since yesterday and out of the blue, after i turned on my pc, all I could hear was this consistent single note whine through my headhpones, and no other sound plays when i try to turn on music or whatever else. I have tried uninstalling and reinstaling my audio drivers, updating my mb audio, and even disabling and re-enabling the audio jacks through BIOS. Nothing seems to work. Today however, i noticed that when i unplugged my keyboard, the sound reduced significantly. So i tried unplugging all the usb devices from my pc and at that point, its basically silent, but i still get no audio through the headphones. Further testing revealed that changing the rgb config on my keyboard gives different amount of sound, for example, when its on the rolling rainbow setting, the sound pulsates exactly at the speed the rainbow is. When i changed the rgb to a static colour, the sound is also static, and the loudest it gets. I really dont know whats going on and how to fix this, someone please help!

Might be helpful to note, my inital part list was all from Newegg, i tried to avoud getting parts from too many vendors, and i found part prices on newegg to be much cheaper in total, in comparison to other websites. But to be cost efficient, maybe picking the least pricey parts from different sites (looking at BestBuy, Amazon, BHphotovideo and Newegg) might be helpful?
