  1. if the cpu is at 91 then there is most likely a issue with the cooler. You can try changing the thermal paste out and see if that works or try a new cooler. Pretty sure it has something to do with the cooler. You also mentioned that the aio was sitting for 6 months which the fluid might not be good as it has been siting for a long time.
  2. not that old, but what is your budget?
  3. you can save some money on the cooler and put a air cooler like the dark rock pro 4. Also you should go with a x570 motherboard as you have a pretty high end system. But these are just my suggestions
  4. I think it is time for a new system PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor $174.99 @ B&H Motherboard MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard $114.99 @ Best Buy Memory G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory $79.99 @ Newegg Storage Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $118.99 @ Newegg Video Card Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB GAMING OC Video Card $399.99 @ Newegg Case Cougar MX330 ATX Mid Tower Case $42.98 @ Newegg Power Supply EVGA BQ 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply $66.87 @ Newegg Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1013.80 Mail-in rebates -$15.00 Total $998.80 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-04-24 18:30 EDT-0400 Here are some suggestions
  5. Good build but I would go with a air cooler like the dark rock pro 4 or the fuma 2 to save you some money
  6. you have to get low profile ram to make it fit under there
  7. having 2 systems running will be more difficult to use and as you said the power consumption would be more than just one powerful pc.
  8. rx5600 XT is your best bet. Or 2060
  9. Well you basically only have those two choices either install from a usb and chose where you want windows to be installed or go with a third party tool there are not many other options
  10. yes that is fine just make sure it doesn't go past 85-90

I do not think that you can use the key from the laptop as it will most likely be a oem key and be locked to the laptop. You can find key for a fairly low price like $20 online from websites like kingwin and there are some other websites but just can't think of them right now. You can even not activate windows and still use it but with a little watermark at the bottom of your screen. Here is a article on this. https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/get-windows-10-free-or-cheap,5717.html
  12. you should be more than enough with a 550w - 600w psu
  13. 5700xt becuase it is better value. You will maybe see like couple frame increase by going with the 2070 super but if you are really worried about the frames the 2070 super Here is a video comparing the two
  14. The driver issues have mostly been ironed out and resolved. But if you are worried about that then I would say go nividia.
  15. Really good build but you can go with a rx5700xt to save some money the performance is the same but the rx5700xt costs less it is up to you. You should be good with a 650 watt psu. But otherwise really good build.
  16. rx 5700xt is a pretty good choice
  17. So I just noticed this issue I have a 2tb seagate hard drive and a 4tb western digital hard drive. They show up as one and I never put then in raid. Anyone know how to fix this? in bios they show up as different drives but in windows they show up as one drive.
  18. You can get decent air coolers for a price of a aio. Try the Dark Rock Pro 4 or the nh-d15
  19. Just a random topic cause im bored as hell sitting at home quarantined.

But you will have a watermark at the bottom you can find keys for cheap.

  22. what is your budget if you are looking for a upgrade I would say upgrade all at once. Also the power supply in your current rig is something that I would upgrade first before anything
