  1. 8/10 large ssd and 6 core CPU are what set it apart from the rest
  2. 550w is cutting it pretty close for a 980ti + other components IMO
  3. 7.5/10 great CPU, GPU, & Ram, but weak PSU and storage solution is all over the place.
  4. 7.5/10. CPU & RAM + storage, just get the job done, but the GPU is such a beast that it bumps the score up a ton.
  5. yeah I guess so. I've only been flying over my own property at this point.
  6. nope, if you don't have your registration it is a $27k fine regardless if following rules or not. If it is dangerous on top of that I think it can be up to $250k or 3 years in prision
  7. I'm 17 and I fly hexacopters with full scale cameras. you'd be surprised by the fact that if you were to do that, you'd limit the number of informed and experienced multi copter pilots tremendously. I'd take some of these kids that actually know what they are doing over the majority of the adults that are flying phantoms around.
  8. https://registermyuas.faa.gov/ here is the site Many who were previously fine with the registration are now disappointed that the entire database with names and addresses as well as ID Number's will be publicly searchable. http://www.forbes.com/sites/johngoglia/2015/12/18/faa-finally-admits-names-and-home-addresses-in-drone-registry-will-be-publicly-available/ Previously the FAA said the info would only be available to law officials, and still has that statement on there site, but some sources are saying that this will be changed later on. How do you feel about this, and the fact that it will also include children 13 and older? Seems to me like it is another thing illegal that they are doing here since they will be changing something that they promised would stay private.
  9. some other good ideas are a decent camera http://www.amazon.com/Canon-18-55mm-Digital-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B016SN90HQ/ref=sr_1_5?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1449275747&sr=1-5&keywords=canon+t5 t5 is pretty good for the price for an average user another good idea is a NAS since every person needs a way to backup their data http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KU686L4/ref=twister_B017BY42RE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 and a tablet for basic computing for someone who doesn't have one http://www.amazon.com/Nexus-Google-7-Inch-Black-Tablet/dp/B00DVFLJDS/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1449276001&sr=1-1&keywords=nexus+7
  10. I'd like to give my dad 2 WD 4tb Red's to put in his NAS http://www.amazon.com/Red-Desktop-Hard-Disk-Drive/dp/B00EHBERSE/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1449275681&sr=1-1&keywords=WD+red
  11. Imagine people waking up tomorrow, applying the software update and then having their car drive them to work.
  12. Imagine people waking up tomorrow, updating their car, and then having the car they've had for perhaps a year or two being able to drive them to work.
