  3. What DAC would you reccomend? if it´s so much better i see no problem asking them for that instead. I see no point in selling the items anyway, i was happy with the soundcard i had, and the Headset i had. But i suppose i will just ask for what i posted in the start topic.
  4. Well my onboard aint that great, i can deffenetly hear a difference form the dedicated cound card, the thing is here if i ask for the money back it would be alot less than what the actual products would be sepperate. Im not sure i can convince them to give me a brand new headset would be cool tho.
  5. Hi guys I previously owned the : https://www.asus.com/Sound_Cards_and_DigitaltoAnalog_Converters/Xonar_Xense/ The sound card broke and i had to ship the entire deal back for RMA, i spoke with a supporter and i now have to mail them with suggestions for replacements, as they can no longer replace this product. As expected the supporter told me that their policy is to replace the items based on quality and usability and not price, as it varies too much. I spoke with ASUS on the phone and they told me the closest replacement for the sound card would be the. http://www.asus.com/dk/Sound_Cards_and_DigitaltoAnalog_Converters/Essence_STX_II/ Essence STX II With that option they also need to send me a headset, now as far as i can tell PC 350 Xense Edition is unavailable for general purchase and i would think impossible to acquire again. According to their website the closest thing i could fine was the. http://da-dk.sennheiser.com/pc-350-special-edition-gaming-headset 350SE or perhaps the http://da-dk.sennheiser.com/pc-363d-surround-sound-gaming-headset 363D What would you guys recommend as a replacement demand, the problem with both headphones is that they use the 3.5mm Jack and the sound card offers the larger 6 mm one. That could be solved with adapters tho. What are your thoughts ? Kind Regards Chris
  6. Hello I just bought 3x VN247H from asus to use in a multi monitor setup, now iv serched the net for a fix for the folowing problem, but i havent found any usefull information, and most of it is outdated. I use Windows 8.1, with a 780Ti Problem: I can create a costum resolution that works well for some games, and the desktop i really like. But there are certan game which i need the extented desktop and not a sourround setup. I need in some cases the pc to detect all 3 monitors separately. Is there a fix, shortcut to change thies settings? perhaps a program to manage this? Help will be much apriciated /Chris
  7. Get the two 780 or even ti if you can afford it, two might not be needed now for some games. But im totally with you on the more is more. It wil ensure eye candy @ good fps for quite some time. But imo it is not worth getting the 770 sins it is a big wc build the hasses of not having the long livity of better models. I lerned that from bitter experience, go for the top models and wait a while for next upgrade. Perhaps ADD 2. 3. Card when they cant keep up. Id say chose the Block then chose a refference 780 fx from evga as i have. And save some money on the "waisted" cooler. The evga oc versions are not binnd after performance so a more expensive pre oc card does not garanti a better actural oc. Im not sure if this is the case with other manifactures. If you stay air then the direct cu II is a good option, most are equal in performance. Chose the look you like, and hope for a good bin. If so contact them if there are bin differences. /ChrisU
  8. Thank you for explaning this to me, it makes sence to use drives for what they are ment fore. The reason i have raid 0 on my current was more or less to play with it and gain some experience. I Will be going for the 500gb version.
  9. The Crucial M550 is 206$ for one 250 and 398 for the 500gb one that's way overpriced imo. But if other drives can be suggested, i could look in to that aswell. From what iv herd the evo is just one of the better drives out there. Unless you want to go for somthing like intels new drives.
  10. Could you elborate on this please?
  11. Thank you for the input guys, the ssd's wil be used for reccording using Fraps or shadowplay if that makes any difference. But there Will be only games and os on it backen up every other Night, but i suppose that can't justify the price. It could look cooler tho, but if i justify by the coolness factor it kind of neglets the pourpose of this poll in the first place.
  12. I have to upgrading my ssd, leaving me with a few options. Two 250 evo's or one 500gb The single evo is cheaper (300$) an the price fro two 250 (361$) i would be able to run raid 0 with two giving awsome speeds (i have option of Daily backup on nass). My questions would you guys think it's worth it i currently have 2x vertex 4 120gb in raid 0 that are going in my laptop.
  13. I really apriciate the imputs you guys are comming with, the Eloops, "limited" function might be a problem. As for your questions: As of now i need cooling on 780ti and 3570k, later upgrades will include 2. 780ti and the new Haswell-e processors. As for style, I plan on some black white slilver, and maby maby not some lighting. As for the budget it's not the biggest issue, as this could be a longer build process. Well i would anticipate it bieeng some what louder under load. But yes, quiet is somthing that i value fairly high. And again i apriciate the advice you guys bring. /Chris
