  1. THE BEST HELP YOU CAN OFFER IS ASKING QUESTIONS SO I CAN IMPROVE THE POST, OFFER MORE INFORMATION AND SPREAD IT AROUND TO OTHER COMMUNITIES. I have a pair of bose qc45 and the on/off slider switch is somewhat broken, it needs to be pushed and then pulled back a little to turn the headphones on. You can slide it casually and the LED doesent turn on, nor do the headphones work/connect. If you turn them back off (sliding the switch back) then the indicator LED flashes white once. No sound is played at any time during any process. If you play around with the switch, the indicator LED turns on and they can connect to bluetooth but there is no sound, no ANC. If I plug in the aux cable they work, but only if they are switched off, and if i turn them on while the aux is plugged in - the audio cuts off. I'm no electritian but I'm guessing either the switch is broken and supplies power only to the wireless chip, not amp and the speakers, or there's a bigger problem, but no way to know as noone would be interested in searching the schematics of the headphones, soooo just give me an educated guess please! If you aren't familiar with the model, the aux doesent depend on battery power. You can plug it in while the headphones are off or dead, meaning there's a dac and amp inside that relies on the aux power. You can turn the headphones on while the aux is plugged in, and the ANC will turn on and also the sound will be different, like way better, so maybe it switches to another amp or something idk i'm throwing words around. Also I factory reset them and they still don't produce any sounds when turned on. TLDR so like the switch turns them on but only if you play around with it and it only connects to bluetooth, no sound is produced. 2. i tried my luck but you are right, lenovo vantage cant control fans on non-gaming devices as far as im concerned.
  3. I want to make my fans speed up to max when i do something intensive. i have cpu cooling policy at active. i poked through the bios and the closest thing i could find thats related to fans is intel speedstep tech. i have 3 options: performance, batery and off. i have the performance setting for the "AC plugged in" option. Maybe theres a 3rd party software that can control the fans? i have a thinkpad e480 btw
  4. Macube 310p, stock amd wraith cooler, 2 120mm fans and an often dusty room
  5. I have 2 120mm fans and i need to decide where to out them in the case and in what configuration but i have no experience in such things. Im fighting dust here so i need a setup that focuses on reducing dust buildup.
  6. the market's shit here so this is litteraly the only 1650 super i could find. If i get a good deal on a 1650 non-super factory OC would it be ok compared to the super?
  7. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Graphics-Cards/All-series/PH-GTX1650S-O4G/ heres a 1650 super from asus. It only has one fan doe while non-super 1650's often have two fans. Is this going to be an adequately cooled grapchics card?
  8. Yeah i aint building this any time soon. Only a dream for now
  9. I made this PCPartPicker list because when I saw this video on a AMD vs. Intel midrange gaming PC challange I was kinda annoyed that for spending 1000usd (a budget I dream i would ever have) on a pc you would get so little performance.() Here is a better performing and actually midrange pc for CHEAPER!!! (20~30$ difference but still cheaper) PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JJRMXb CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($199.99 @ Best Buy) Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($64.98 @ Amazon) Memory: Crucial Ballistix 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory ($65.99 @ B&H) Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 250 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($39.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($56.98 @ Newegg) Video Card: Asus Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB STRIX GAMING OC Video Card ($479.99 @ Adorama) Case: NZXT H500 ATX Mid Tower Case ($44.99 @ NZXT) Power Supply: Corsair CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($69.64 @ Amazon) Total: $1022.55 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker PS.
