  1. Ok, I'm thinking of overclocking quite a bit for gaming, and also I will probably be rendering for around 1-3h at a time and probably around the same for gaming. For air cooling I was thinking of the noctua nh-u14s. For these situations what would you recommend or pick?
  2. Ok, hmm I have heard that after under load for extended time, they start to become less efficient, and as water conducts heat better, would a custom loop be better? Or would the hsf still be better?. Also is there an in between/ hybrid?
  3. Hey guys, do any of you have an suggestions for what the best overall cooler for the tr 3990x would be? I have unlimited budget and want something that will give me exceptional cooling under a high load. I do not care what type of cooler: aio, air or more, I am also building a custom case so room will not be an issue. I'd greatly appreciate any advice.
  4. Hmm I'm not to sure about networking, but I can always find about that later and change some stuff if needed. For ram, I'm thinking around 64gb for video editing (4k as well as game footage) and multitasking
  5. I live in New Zealand and probably maximum of 3 gpus depending on how intense work programs are, but I think probably just 1 2080ti and maybe a titan or quadro. And could you elaborate on "network requirements" a but more please?
  6. Ok thanks for the heads up on that I'm willing to spend enough money to get something that will last a decent amount of time, will give me lots of room to upgrade in the future, and will be very nice to do stuff like game stream, video edit etc excellently with almost no performance drop while still having any of the background tasks I mentioned earlier running. That's one of the reasons my earlier 2 system pc was so elaborate.
  7. Ok thanks, would it be able to handle games well with demanding background tasks running too? And if you have time to spare I would really appreciate it
  8. Ok thanks, what would you say the fps difference would be? also considering that I may game while background stuff is taking place. Also someone else commented that only a 2080ti would be necessary in most cases, If I needed in the future, is it possible to add 2 different gpus and being able to change what tasks they work on?
  9. Oh ok thanks, and they didn't mention gpu model, just a high performance one
  10. At the moment I have no idea of what programs but I will be running engineering simulations and other stuff too
