I am looking for a monitor With a resolution of 2560x1440 and a refresh rate of at least 90hz for around £250. Preferably I would want an IPS panel but it isn't a necessity. The system I will be using will have an RTX 3060ti and either a Ryzen 5 3600 or a ryzen 5 5600. (non X) (when it is released) Thanks in advance.

My CPU budget is ~£200 Would an 8 core CPU be better for the long term instead of a 6 core CPU? I have a RTX 3060 ti and my original CPU of choice was the ryzen 5 3600 ,which is a 6 core CPU, but someone suggested that an 8 core CPU would be better for the future as the New consoles (PS5 and Xbox series X) will be using 8 core CPUs so newer games will be better optimized for 8 core CPUs. I am now thinking of buying a ryzen 7 2700x but most people online say to get the 3600 over the 2700x as it preforms better.

In the RTX 3000 reveal it was stated that the RTX 3070 would retail for $500 which is £387.10 in the UK but the RTX 3070 founders edition is priced at £469.99 in the UK and some of the AIB cards have had their prices revealed as the same. Will it be reduced?

In around 14 days Nvidia's "The ultimate countdown" will reach zero. I want to know if it is worth waiting for a 3000 series GPU instead of buying a 2000 series GPU. I am currently thinking of buying a RTX 2060 for £299.99 but if a RTX 3000 card was scheduled to be released that preformed better or equal for around the same price then I wouldn't mind waiting. So should I wait for the new 3000 cards or just buy a 2000 card? Or is it worth waiting for the 3000 cards so that the 2000 cards reduce in price?

I want to build a gaming pc and I am still trying to decide which storage configuration I want. Originally I wanted a 240gb SSD and a 2tb HDD but now I am considering a single 1tb SSD. Which configuration do you think will be better? I don't play loads and loads of games at once but when I do I usually stick to that game for a while untill moving to another so I may not need the storage for lots of games to be simultaneously installed. Any help would be much appreciated.
