  1. Specs cpu: ryzen 7 5700g gpu: gigabyte rtx 2070 super mobo: asus TUF b550 gaming plus (wifi) *flashed to latest bios from asus ram: 32 fb t force 3200mhz ddr4 (8x4) miscellaneous: 2 usb 3.0 pcie expansion cards, 1 pcie Sata expansion card Memory 3 Sata SSDs, 3 Sata HDDs, 1 m.2 name(boot drive) -note all drives are carryovers from previous build (Msi b450 gaming max mobo and ryzen 5 3600x with same gpu and expansion cards) Explanation I have just updated my system a bit and now have an annoying issue that prevents me from using my computer. Everything is spinning up and has power but the debug light settles on a green boot light after going through all of the debug lights during a startup. (Video link for further context: ) I get to the TUF splash screen asking to press f2 or delete in order to access the bios and I get no response from my keyboard when I do so. I am unsure of what else I can do and would appreciate any advice that you may have. P.S. The system would boot up into windows previously with just the igpu present. After putting in the gpu I get stuck on the splash screen regardless if I take out the gpu and use the igpu or not.
  2. Sorry that was a mess up on my part. I did update the bios from Msi. I get no lights or indication of power to the board. it was working fine this morning when I flashed it and now there is nothing snot even the debug lights on the board.
  3. Specs Cpu: ryzen 7 5700g Gpu: gigabyte rtx 2070 super mobo: Msi b450 gaming max i flashed the bios to the most current from the AMD website. The pc originally had a 3600x and worked fine after the flash. I put the ryzen 7 in and now the system will not even power on with either the 5700g or 3600x in the board. I was wondering if anyone else has had any experiences like this with 5000 series processors on b450 boards and what they did to remedy this. thanks ahead of time!
  4. The PC Cpu:ryzen 5 3600x mobo: Mai b450 gaming max gpu: gigabyte tax 2070 super ram: 32gb (8gbx4) tuf 3200mhz other peripherals include two pcie USB expansion cards and one pcie data expansion port. The Issue My pc was working fine until today. I booted in to windows and it did not recognize 3 drives connected to a pcie Sata expansion card. Thinking nothing of it I powered off and rebooted however I was greeted by blank screens and a cpu debug light on the mother board that won’t go away. All fans on the case, gpu and cpu cooler spin up however. the power button can turn on the pc but it cannot turn it off, I must use the switch on the psu. I have tried reseating the cpu but this didn’t seem to fix it at all. I would try to update the bios but I have no way of doing so as I can’t get video out of the machine. Any help here would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
  5. Hi there, I recently came across an old crt monitor that I have grown fond of for emulation and older pc titles. My initial solution was to buy a gt 710 for vga output as a second gpu ( main is a 2070 Super) however this severely limits me from enjoying other titles on the old beast. I was wondering if someone could guide me to a good adaptor that would allow me to achieve my target resolution of 1024x768 with an 85hz refresh rate. Thank you for your help in advance!!
  6. I want to build a secondary pc out of parts I have lying around it would have a i5 4690k and an r9 390. The psu in question is an old 80+ OCZ fatal1ity 550w. Not sure about the entirety of this psu's usage over the course of its life as it came in a hand me down machine. Is it gonna be reliable for a little while longer or should I move on? Thanks in advance for your responses!
  7. I am finally upgrading my computer, and building my own tower for the first time. My previous build had a 1050 non ti that I would like to carry forward to my new rig for extra ports and phys x (just because) The new build is a ryzen 5 3600x (wont be oc'd), a 2070 super, 16gb of 3200 ddr4, a 250gb m.2 ssd, the motherboard is a msi b450 gaming plus max. I will also be carrying these forward: advd drive (dont ask) a 1tb 7200 hdd, a 2tb 7200 sshd and a 240gb sata ssd. In terms of peripherals I will be running four monitors, 3 mice, 3 keyboards and other miscellaneous game controllers etc. So to get to the point is the 750w seasonic focus I bought going to be enough to power all this safely? I did use a calculator and it said something like 670w at 90 percent loads. Is this something that I can safely do? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
