The type of equipment you want is not going to be cheap. But if you're willing to pay the up-front cost, take a look at the Explorer 5G from InstyConnect.

I would suggest you contact InstyConnect directly to see if their Explorer 5G will work in the region of the world where you live.

Aside from that, you can try contacting your local 5G/cellular providers who have coverage in your area. They might have indoor CPE devices to rent, which you can place where you get good 5G connectivity and wire in a switch/AP to extend WiFi coverage. The benefits of going this route are that the cost is likely to be less and their equipment is almost guaranteed to work on their implementation of 5G in your neighbourhood. Plus, the incentive is there to expand 5G coverage because of how short the range is on this technology.

Thank you very much, your response is incredibly helpful, I really wish more people like you existed on this forum, second time asking this question and the last post responses was something along the lines of "just buy the official product" or "china make bad products", it is really kind of you to find the link for me, greatly appreciated, enjoy your easter break and day!

Thanks for letting me know, apparently microsoft keeps moving drivers for the 360 stuff so you can't find them as easily and links in forums no longer work, thanks again and enjoy your easter and break, have a great day much appreciated!

OK so I found the driver, if you do get it, then it doesn't install automatically and you cant find it in the device list (which it probably won't because it's an older device and the 3rd party have a different device ID to the official MS one) . Here's the link. https://www.s-config.com/slab/get-chinese-xbox-receiver-drivers/

It will add it to you're device list (you only need to install the 64-bit version) to manually install.

This is every thing you should need to make the wheel work.

I have created a custom block for my rx 570, I'm not running any oc's on the core or memory, but only the chip and vrms have cooling, the memory however doesn't, many forums state that it's not necessary as long as air is blowing over the card, I don't have air blowing directly over, the radiator may blow a small amount over but it's an open air case so do I still need to worry? I haven't noticed any core or memory down clocking during gaming and they get pretty warm to the touch close to being too hot but bearable if that makes any sense

Stargaze obama reacted to Donut417 in will a new router for my isp improve speed?
VDSL yes, but the OP could have shitty aDSL. In my city in the parts that have it aDSL is only rated for 18 Mbps. Thats all AT&T can muster.

Stargaze obama reacted to Falcon1986 in will a new router for my isp improve speed?
    Sounds like DSL.

IIRC, DSL has a maximum speed of 100Mbps (that’s megabits per second, not megabytes per second) in the best of conditions if the ISP even provides that. Are you sure your connection speed is 11MBps and not 11Mbps?

Additionally, the further you physically are from the DSL ISP, the more the signal attenuation and maximum speed degrades. Being that you’re in a rural area, you’re probably getting the best speeds that can be attained on a DSL line.

A new router won’t help with improving internet connection speed if this is the case. It might help with better WiFi coverage (if it’s a newer-generation WiFi router), but it’s client-to-WAN speed will be limited by the already-slow DSL connection.

To be honest you have made a really good build and everything seems completely fine with it, I would've looked at getting a 6800xt because of the larger heatsink and people overclocking it to 2.7ghz stable, but your build is perfectly fine, you could maybe look at some "better" memory with tighter timings, but that won't really make a huge difference in performance, enjoy your build, one of lucky few to get a 6800 and hope you get the 5600x, but 3000 ryzen is still a good buy if you can't

Stargaze obama reacted to AndreiArgeanu in WiFi is slower than what task manager is reporting??
Not exactly the same I believe bits are represent as bps, e.g. Mbps Kbps and bytes are represented as B/s e.g. MB/s KB/s and so on. I have no idea why it's done like this and why there just isn't one, that's just the way computers are.

Stargaze obama reacted to AndreiArgeanu in WiFi is slower than what task manager is reporting??
This also applies when going from Bytes to bits. So if you want to convert KB/s to Kbps then you just times by 8, so in your case it would be 553KB/s*8=4424Kbps which is the same as 4.424Mbps which again is pretty close to what task manager is reporting. So your speed is either 4.4 megabits per second or 553 kilobytes per second

My software knowledge is limited and from what I understand you system should be working fine, everything is funtioning as it should and everything is directly compatible, if you have a spare drive install a fresh windows on it and try the same google maps testing that your having issues with, if it still persists then I'd assume it's hardware related, if the issue stops then something on your PC is not playing nice, hope I helped but I'm completely confused by this problem

Stargaze obama reacted to Ron30 in Where to place my drain valve
Thanks. I intend to mount the pump/res on the front rad, not to the hdd shroud, so the shroud will be removable without needing to worry about affecting the rest of the system. The soft tubing will run into the shroud and the valve will be connnected to the end of that, sort of just sitting in there, untethered, free hanging from the length of tube. Should be fairly accessible, when I need it to be. I can't leave it where it is now, because it won't be the lowest point and it'd be near impossible to position the case in a position where it would be the lowest point.
I only drain once a year, twice if I have to.

Most likely offer a new chipset, but if not a CPU to update your bios or max series motherboards that have a larger bios chip are your two options, current max boards don't support them obviously, but it would day zen 3 ready somewhere

If you need to remove your CPU power and 24 pin from the PSU then yeah it's worth it, but I have never needed to and I don't think it's worth the extra, unless you plan on custom cables rather than cable extensions

Then you'll probably have to go the used route. Make sure you know what your buying and especially how old it is if you do go used, but that would probably be a better option then buying a 40 dollar time bomb.

Nope, actually even though it's on zen  1, it has a different agesa code from other zen 1 cpu's, so you'll still need a bios update if the board didn't ship with the new one.
