  1. Ok---I know it's been a while but I just wanted to give an update. Good news i think the issue is solved =D!!! You were correct in the fact that it was the Ram settings actually. I think its not a well known thing for Ryzen 3000 CPU's with 3200 MHZ ram. But I'm like 95% certain that this is the fix. -- Link below to the video in which I used his settings (mostly just turning things from "Auto" to the actual setting. Thank you all for the help -- I think narrowing this down to realize the RAM OC was the issue is really what saved me. I this Forum.
  2. This is the version I downloaded, I think not the plus? https://www.memtest86.com/
  3. So it seems the O.C. is the problem. Even if the Memtest does not say that it is... I feel like it is.... Because when the O.C. is off, after hours each time I get no BSOD. But then I turn O.C. for the RAM on, I get BSOD within an hour minimum while gaming on anything taxing (Modern Warefare, Assassins Creed). Part of me is very happy to know (or think I know) the issue.. But part of me wants to know why it would be an issue? Do you think its worth me perusing? Or am I starting to embark on a wild goose chase?
  4. Ok, i'll try overnight memtests for the next couple days while on OC and see if it reports any errors. I normally shut down through windows and then power on, but I do not have fast boot turned on. However, when I blue screen it just re-starts it self. I normally only get them while doing a game though. So far I have not got one while RAM was not OC, I'll just follow your advice and see if errors ever are reported. I feel like it probably is the O.C. causing the issues, I just don't know if there really is a solution other than simply not doing a RAM OC which is unfortunate
  5. Its very odd, I ran the test four times on both sticks (while xmp OC at 3200MHZ) last night. ZERO errors, what gives? Test results posted in the link below. I'm not sure what Ryzen SOC voltage is, how can I check that to let you know what it currently is set at? I have Ryzen Master, i see Voltage Control for Peak Cores and Average Cores both fluctuating from 1.29 to 1.40. I posted a pickture in the link i sent as well. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/30iyx0559gxn5ob/AABych3R6KLwWr-Z5-fH1ku6a?dl=0
  6. Okie, I will try this tonight and post results in the morning. It will be a very good check now that I think about it, because in theory if the O.C. is causing the issue then I should be getting errors while its running correct?
  7. Well when you put it that way... I guess I'm going to just live with the slower RAM haha. I cannot handle these constant BSOD. But I'm really grateful you helped solve the mystery. I have not had one BSOD since I under-clocked the RAM!!! It's so odd how the RAM can cause that many issues.
  8. Ok small update, I've been playing AC Origins (normally when I get my BSOD) and since I have turned off OC with the RAM it seems I have not gotten a BSOD.... IS this seriously because my RAM was OC even though the packaging states Corsair PRO OC to 3200MHZ? If that is the case, what is the point of buying RAM that is suppose to go to 3200 MHZ D= This happened with my last RAM also so I replaced with this. Am I really just unlucky or am I possibly doing the OC wrong?
  9. Okie Angel, I did it. My first time ever using MemTest! And I think... I did it correctly I tested both Ram sticks separately and the program did 2 passes with zero errors on both. I also made sure to turn off the OC prior to testing. I'm not sure if this is noteworthy, but generally the BSOD only happen when I launch a game (not during regular use, most of the time). I'll try and test to see if I get one in the morning, I'm just really tired atm those memory tests took such a long time! Thanks for the advice, I'll let you know what comes things in the morning.
  10. https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1229057-bsod-hell-please-help-d/?tab=comments#comment-13878273 I was having issues previously with BSOD, I was helped earlier and we thought the problem was bad GPU drivers -- So i installed Display Driver Uninstaller went into safe mode ran it, rebooted and installed new drivers all while offline. The problem seemed to have been fixed. However, the BSOD are back and I'm getting many different ones. I am doing NO overclocking except for the RAM which states it may be ran at 3200 MHZ. Page Fault in Non Paged Area... Kmode Exception, System Thread Exception Not Handled.. Could this mean I have a bad MOBO or GPU? Thank you in advance for any help.
  11. Ok, i'm thinking you are correct. Thank you so much for your help. You're really an expert for sure. You knew my exact problem in mere seconds =D I cannot thank you enough!
  12. Well things were going well for a bit, I thought the issue was solved... So I went to the AMD software and overlocked the GPU -- After about 20 minutes I got another BSOD, and the speakers started making a buzzing sound before the restart. I found this code in the event viewer "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff80342f1f9bb, 0x0000000000000000, 0xffffffffffffffff). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: bf1c5789-ba4b-4294-a553-2fb34b91e106"
  13. Ok -- An update. I installed the DDU, I went to safe mode ran the DDU for both NVIDIA, then AMD drivers. Then restarted with no connection to the internet installed the latest AMD drivers. I'm going to get on my Assassins Creed Origins now to test, Normally getting BSOD whenever I get on a game and 5-45 minutes will get one. Hopefully no BSOD. I'm assuming I should not overclock the GPU with the AMD settings for now. However, my RAM is using the XMP O.C. in bios to 3200 MHZ. But it was stable prior to the new GPU.
  14. Ahh ok, thank you for the tips! I'm going to try that right now and unplug from the interne. I'll let you know my findings =D
  15. Thanks for the reply Skiiwee29! I'll definitely run the DDU, but what is it?
