I don't know if you still need help with this. But for other people stumbling upon this thread. I have pretty average hands, maybe a little bigger. And the xm1 fits my hand nicely. But definitely go into a store and try it out.

Pretty sure any 12 volt adapter will work. It doesn't spin at full speed though, some sort of limiter in the fan from my experience. I'm not sure if it's possible to control it through the PC. Maybe with a seperate fan controller.
