  1. I have now installed the in theory way worse standard prism wraith cooler and.... The temps. are totally fine now. It's at 54c again. I guess I'll have to look for a new cooler now cuz I dont thing that I will keep on runnig long with that thing but it ll' work for now. Thanks for everyone giving me their ideas and time for my problem. I appreciate all of you, thanks.
  2. Thanks, and no worries of me stress Testing this thing right now. It goes to 95c withing 1 min making booting not possible. I.will continue and try my best.
  3. Yeah.. the voltages are jumping. I remember it jumping from .9 or something low like that up to 1.4. I dont really know how to describe it tbh. But it shure looks wrong. I will have to search how to set it and what to set it to I guess. I was just checking in the iCue software ro see if it might tell me the liquid temps. HWMonitor and the bios both said 85+ degrees. Btw i cant boot atm because its giving me a cpu overtemp. Warning.
  4. Well, i just switched my entire system from my i7 6700k and i did not encounter any of these problems on that combination. The radiator is clean and thermalpaste is applied. It might still be the pump as I'm shure the ryzen will produce more heat as my Intel cpu. I will try to put the standard wraith prism thing on. If that cools it more I guess I have one answer.
  5. Soooo... i have this problem that my Ryzen 9 3900x is overheating a lot. Just after booting it up it’s at around 75 degrees. So I have about 5 minutes until it reaches 90+ (it went as far as 100) and shuts down. I have an aio from Corsair, the h115i and it did it’s job good. When this problem started to be a thing I went and checked temps in the Corsair iCue software and it was around 50. The bios tho said it was way higher at about 80 and up. After a bios corruption due to shutdown while updating it I had a corrupted bios. I managed to repair it and i now have the latest bios and the same problem. I don’t know what to do anymore it’s really frustrating tbh. I can only imagine it being something with voltage or something so stupid I don’t even bothered to think about. I have: Ryzen 9 3900x ROG x570 Gaming e Gtx 970 24gb 3200ghz vengeance plz help
  6. (Sad)Update: I was updating the bios and as soon as it started it wasn’t even 1% it literally turned itself of. I guess because of it overheating. Now I heard that some mobos have like a second bios or something to recover but I think I’m not lucky finding it on this one.
  7. I’m shure the cooler should be installed right. But you are right I have never updated the bios or done something with the chipset. Thanks for the answer I will try ^^
  8. So had this problem recently that my cpu heats up up to 100 degrees without doing anything really. I have checked my aio cooler (Corsair h115i) and it seems so be running fine and it makes a quiet pump noise that you can hear(idk if you are even supposed to hear that). In the software from Corsair (iCue) the cooler shows temperatures at around 50 degrees which seem fairly reasonable but than again HwMonitor and Ryzen master Software as well as in the bios it show the cpu package temperature to be at 92 just a few minutes after booting it up. I had this problem bevor and hooked up the aio to my old board with a i7 6700k and it was running all good looking at the temperature. That made me think to cancel out the problem being at the aio. And now I can’t seem to fix it by just plugging a few fans on different headers(yes that kinda fixed it last time). I don’t have much experience messing with voltages and such things on a CPU so my thoughts went in the direction of this may being a potential source of the problem. In the bios everything is set as it was out of the box. Or at least as it is when you reset it(this board has a little button for that when I understood that correctly)I did not mess around with any of the voltages or ratios. The voltage itself jumps around ranging from 0.9 something to 1.4 . I assume this is some sort of auto setting. system: Ryzen 9 3900x Asus strix x570-e gaming 24gb Corsair vengeance 3200 gtx 970 msi I’m sorry if I forgot about some essential information that might have helped but I’m new to this forum thing in general as well.
