  1. I play a lot of games and a lot of competitive shooters. I consistently hit Masters in Apex and Diamond+ on Rainbow Six Siege and on top of that i do play a lot of other chill games like Genshin Impact and Minecraft and etc. I don't have plans to make it like a job or anything just really want to be able to show off a little bit y'knw. At the upperend i guess i won't be doing more than a 6 hour heavy stream but i don't know tbh. I definetely am not getting something that ain't a Macbook Air so ig i'll have to make do with just the PC then.
  2. So i'm going to be building a Mini-ITX Gaming PC with a Ryzen 5 5600 + RTX 3060 and i'm also going to be getting a Apple M1 Macbook Air for university purposes. I really want to get into streaming + recording and was wondering if there was any way i would be able to do a dual streaming setup with my PC and laptop. I want to be able to use the laptop without running Windows on it, and i also want to be able to use the laptop out of the streaming setup. Right now i'm thinking of just running dual monitors with a graphic display in the coming future (XP-Pen Artist 1 of the 22 inch models). I will be getting a camera as well not so sure which one yet though. For the audio peripherals so far i want to stick with a razer setup with a Razer Nari Ultimate Wireless headphones + The Shure mv7 podcast mic. I don't know exactly what sort of other things i need to get to run a dual stream setup with these properly. I don't know if it even is possible to run a dual streaming setup with a macbook either. I would like to ask for you guys who probably know a lot about these to give me some advice on this and some extra things i'll be needing to make this setup work hopefully.
  3. I thought so because i got this idea from a streamer setup i saw a while back on youtube who has a macbook pro as their streaming system. But he was running windows on it though so what i'm trying to do is quite different clearly.
  4. So i have a decent-ish self built full AMD PC. Current specs are: - Ryzen 3 1200 - 1x16GB 2666 MHz RAM - MSI b450 mobo (not sure which one NOT the tomahawk) - XFX RX 570 - 1TB NVME M.2 Due to my motherboard's SATA ports not working + CPU being old as hell I'm going to be upgrading these 2 to a - Ryzen 5 3600+ - a mobo that has in built Wi-Fi (I have a really long ethernet cable running through the house) With this upgrade I'm also thinking about starting streaming. However I've already tried to do so on multiple occasions on my current specs, but on games like Apex Legends and Rainbow Six Siege my FPS drops heavily into the 40's and 50's while streaming. I'm also going to be starting my bachelors in Design Communication (its just art stuff + some 3d modelling) so i was planning on getting myself a MacBook Air. Don't plan to do anything much on that besides drawing and some personal projects. So i was thinking, could i use a MacBook Air as a 2nd streaming system for a dual streaming setup with a capture card of sorts? If so, could someone guide me on what i should be doing because i really have no clue about these things and I'm not sure where to find out. If not, would there be a suitable replacement laptop?; - has to be <$1000 - display must be good (sRGB and brightness mostly) - something small and portable (Reasoning behind me getting a MacBook air is I'm not that well off and i need to be careful with money. My family has also been huge Apple people so i ended up with Iphones my entire life and i prefer Apple stuff a lot more generally. The M1 chips performance outdoes every other laptop in the price range and i won't be gaming or anything on that as i already have a PC for that.)
  5. So i liked to draw and even with my pc out of commission atm i tried connecting my laptop to my TV via HDMI and it doesn't seem to detect any signals. This was exactly the same thing that happened to my pc after i ran the memtest on it. I thought the PC just wouldn't post however it seems the TV itself doesn't seem to be receiving any input or so it says.
  6. alright i'll do tht asap
  7. I was able to load up windows and applications prior to the memtest though.
  8. i'll try that as soon as i can get another set. However there is still the issue where nothing displays anymore.
  9. So i ran a memtest and the test stopped itself after it got over 10,000 errors. Also my PC doesn't seem to show any display anymore afterwards. The fans are all spinning the GPU indicator light is also blue.
  10. Yeah well I live in Maldives and i had my Uncle who lives in UK buy the parts for me and ship it to me. I just checked if i have a warranty card or something like that but i only have warranty for my gpu motherboard and ssd.
  11. If there is an issue with memory would i have to replace the RAM?
  12. I've actually done a clean reinstallation of windows just 2 days ago. Yet the problem persists. It seemed fine for a while but after a couple of hours i'm still crashing. I'll try doing the memtest then.
