Hi all, as title mentions I cannot connect to the internet at all using the wireless adapter. I have a ASUS ROG Strix B550-E gaming with Intel WiFi 6 AX200, with an antenna. I can’t access the internet and when I click on the no internet icon on the bottom it says “Network & Internet settings” then under that says “Change settings, such as making s connection metered”
It shows no available connections at all and I’m at a loss. Been trying to figure it out for an hour now and can’t find anything.

Well for now you could just hit save and exit and then check after you finish the build.
I’m taking that as I click ‘ok’ for it to change the fan from auto to dc?

Then hit escape.
Hit save and done..
But then that’s where the initial question I had was, do I click ok on this or how do I change it to pwm, but I’m pretty sure it’s already in pwm mode

Well these are fan curves for the fans.
Set it to standard for now then save after than save the settings in the bios.
It’s already in standard

Well the LL120's are pwm afaik and not DC.
If you didn't change it, you could switch it back to auto and then hit save.
How do I do that in here?

Can we get a picture? Sounds like the BIOS prompt that asks if you'd like to save your changes before exiting.
Oh yes, here you go

Never went into bios before, I’m using all LL120 fans from Corsair, I was about to install windows but then when I went to exit and save this popped up and I don’t know if I should click yes or change something.

guess you already said that, just want to confirm.
disconnect anything usb except for keyboard
disconnect any ssd's or hdd's
you should only have motherboard, cpu, ram, gpu, monitor, and keyboard connected. well and power...
Try booting
When booting contentiously tab the delete key.
It wasn’t the motherboard, ended up being the GPU came DOA, I’m using a GT740 as a temp GPU and it booted up into bios fine today

In the top right hand corner of the motherboard. There is 4 small LEDs that can light up.
Do any of these light up and stay light when powering on the PC?
No, after a minute or less all of them turn off.

And is the HDMI cable plugged into your videocard, not into your motherboard?
Yes, it is plugged into my gpu.

1. What parts are you using?
2. If you have a dedicated videocard, is your HDMI cable plugged into there? (if you're not sure, just take a picture of the rear of your PC)
3. Are all the cables inside turned on?
4. Have you tried booting the system with as little as possible (i.e. no storage drives plugged in, single stick of memory in slot 2, etc.)?
Oh yes sorry, forgot to post specs;
ASUS ROG Strix B550-E gaming motherboard
G.skill trident z 16gb 3200Mhz
Ryzen 7 3700X
ASUS ROG Strix RTX 2070 super advanced 8gb
Samsung 970 evo 1TB
Corsair HX850 platinum power supply
Everything is spinning and on, including the white LEDs where the PCIe cables plug into the graphics card, the graphics card LEDs are ok and the fans are spinning. I haven’t tried running a single stick of memory yet. I’ll try that now.
The HDMI cable works fine as it was working perfectly with my laptop yesterday, and it is plugged in firmly to the gpu and it a tad bit loose on the monitor end, but nothing seriously loose.

I called ASUS support and went through a few troubleshooting steps with them and nothing worked and they said my motherboard was defective. I sent it back to amazon for a replacement and have built my pc again, only this time to have nothing changed.
Screen turns on to ‘HDMI NO SIGNAL’ then goes to sleep. No QLED LEDs show after a minute of starting the system. The only one to last longer than the others is the BOOT QLED but then it turns off. I have the Qcode AA, which from what I’ve read means that it transitioned into ACPI mode, which means that it was handed over to the operating system. I don’t know what I can try at this point.

Yes.
Called asus support, did CMOS, didn’t work, they confirmed it’s defective and now it’ll take 2 weeks for me to send it back, have them repair it, and send it back. They said 7-10 business days.

If the computer does not post or display anything it's not your SSD it's going to be CPU, GPU, Motherboard, or Ram. Clearing CMOS only takes the 30 seconds you do not need to leave the batter out for longer than that. If the SSD is bad like bad bad it could be possible, but you should still be getting a post or at least be able to get into bios. If you cannot post it's another issue.
Okay. So just to be clear on steps, I remove the battery, (after unplugging everything) hold down the case powerbutton for 30 seconds, the put the battery back in and turn on the pc?

I already explained CMOS in my last reply. Here is step by step how to do it. And yes, the GPU can be removed for this process. CMOS is also NOT your only option, like I've already said multiple times the CPU could also be the culprit, I would recommend if clearing the CMOS does not work to re-seat the CPU and check for any bent or broken pins in the process. I feel like you are not reading my replies all the way the through as I've explained the CMOS reset, as well as the possibility of it being a CPU issue multiple times.
1. Unplug computer from the wall, it can't have any power going to it.
2. Remove CMOS battery.
3. Hold the power button down or jump the power button prongs(only if power button for case is not hooked up) together for at least 15 seconds, 30 is recommended. It should then be reset.
4. Replace the CMOS battery and hook the PC back up and try booting it again.
A friend sent me a video from asus. It’s not the cpu, gpu, or ram. I’m pretty sure it’s my ssd. When the pc turns on it checks itself. My gpu, cpu, and ram pass but the ssd isn’t. (I only have my SSD plugged in as I have no room for my harddrive.) so that would be the only thing it could boot from. I’ll still reset the CMOS, but I think if I could get a signal to my monitor and if I could get into bios, I think I could fix the boot issue
also, shouldn’t I leave the CMOS battery out for 5 minutes? And after I take it out, hold down the power button for 30 seconds like you said, but still wait that other 4 minutes and 30 seconds before putting the gpu back in?

Try one ram stick at a time, see if that works. If it still doesn't post then you may need to re-seat the CPU. Besides memory and GPU it could be the CPU, either bent or broken pins or it could just be not seated correctly.
If you are trying to clear the CMOS you should unplug it from the wall, make sure it has no power, take out the battery and hold the power button for 15 to 30 seconds.
I tried only one ram stick in slot B2 as said for single stick in the manual, then it started lashing the red led, white led, then went to the boot led. I guess cmos is my only option now. Is it fine to leave the graphics card out when I do that? And do I leave it out for a minimum of 5 minutes?

The thing that concerns me is the green led on the mobo, is it the power indicator or is it a debug LED? If it was a debug it would say CPU, Ram, VGA, or BOOT next to it printed on the board. Clear the CMOS, then try re-seating your ram and testing it one module at a time. If that doesn't work re-seat the CPU and check for any bent or broken pins in the process. Can you list your full specs? Brand and model of all the parts please.
Should I take out the battery to clear CMOS or should I jump the connection on the two pins with a metal screw driver or something?

Ive reseated both sticks of ram, but I can also try just one. The boot led came on AFTER I reseated the GPU. Yesterday/last night, it was a VGA error LED

The white LED lights on the GPU indicate it is getting power, nothing to worry about there. Do you have the display plugged directly into the GPU or into the motherboard?
Directly into the graphics card. The cable I know is fine as yesterday before I tried to POST I had it plugged into my laptop and it was working fine
-
Been having issues trying to get it to POST, it is giving me a yellow green LED now and it wasn’t yesterday. But I was wondering if these white LEDs are supposed to be on.

PC has the A9 code still, which means it’s start of setup but I don’t know how long it’s supposed to stay like that.

Try to reseat the gpu and try again. if that fails, remove the cmos battery, unplug your PSU and watch a TV show episode. Put the battery back in. Post again after.
I reseated the graphics card, it’s not stuck on AA, it’s on A9, is that normal, if so, how long does it take to do the start of setup which A9 means?
still have no signal either

Alright. I’ll try that. Thank you.

Basically, first time pc builder, and the white VGA error led showed and someone suggested I shut down the pc, wait 30 seconds, and start it up again, that worked and got rid of the white led, but I still have no signal on my monitor, I know the cable is good because it worked just fine with my laptop earlier today. It’s also giving me the AA code also.

On your “more specifically this one” do I have to download them both? If so, how? I’d assume download them on another pc and plug in a flash drive with the drivers on it into the pc, but then how do I like extract them and actually install them?
