  1. Update: this is weird cause by system did use to go into standby a few days ago
  2. So my windows 11 won't go into sleep mode. Even If i press the Sleep button on the power options in start menu, it still shuts off. If I put the lid down it shuts off or press the power button it shutsoff (even though i've selected the sleep option in "change what closing the lid" settings screen. It's been happening for about 10 days now. I've checked the normal stuff like sleep mode is enabled in settings. The settings seem to be fine. I've even restored default settings for the powerplan and restored defaults in advanced power settings aswell. The system refuses to sleep when plugged in or in battery. Please help
  3. Find my IPhone shows my Airpods's last location at home, where I last used them in the morning. I put them in my bag, went to work, didn't use them the entire day and when I came home they weren't in my bag. I believe they were stolen at work. I want to know, if and when, someone connects them to their phone (IPhone or Android) will the Airpods update the location on find my IPhone?
  4. So my office if giving me an option too upgrade from HP Probook powered by a i5 8250u, which i'm using for over a year now to a brand new HP Probook powered by a AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, The Intel Probook is 5th Gen and the AMD Probook is 6th Gen. The rest of the specs are pretty similar. I'm generally not having any issues with my intel laptop. It handles my daily work which is usually web apps, java, excel and outlook. I generally like the look of the AMD laptop better and also its brand new. My intel laptop looks busted with scratches, dents and a key missing. So even if is the same performance, I will make the switch. Wanted to know if I should move from Intel to AMD.
  5. If I guess right around the time my IC got replaced but the two issues aren't related? I assume this is a software issue.
  6. Yes a HP Probook which is about one and a half years old. I haven't cleaned it but i did get the faulty IC Controller changed about 3 months ago, so they must have cleaned it out then. Airflow is not a issue, even does it on my work desk.
  7. I can't seem to solve why CPU temp is outta control. I have only opened chrome right now with the browsing or streaming or anything and my CPU usage is spiking and the fan is noisy af with CPU temps touching 100c. Can someone help what the issue is? Its been like this for weeks. A restart doesn't help too.
