So my office if giving me an option too upgrade from HP Probook powered by a i5 8250u, which i'm using for over a year now to a brand new HP Probook powered by a AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, The Intel Probook is 5th Gen and the AMD Probook is 6th Gen. The rest of the specs are pretty similar.
I'm generally not having any issues with my intel laptop. It handles my daily work which is usually web apps, java, excel and outlook. I generally like the look of the AMD laptop better and also its brand new. My intel laptop looks busted with scratches, dents and a key missing. So even if is the same performance, I will make the switch.
Wanted to know if I should move from Intel to AMD.
