  1. I feel your pain, having my own issues with crashing/BSODs
  2. But, my ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming was able to load the BIOS with my 3900X, so that is curious.
  3. I just woke up, lol. AMD has a loaner program to help with issues like this: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-100#faq-Short-Term-Processor-Loan-Boot-Kit
  4. I believe you can update the BIOS on the ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming just by having ethernet plugged in and loading the UEFI BIOS. I'm pretty sure that's how I upgraded mine to the 3003 build.
  5. Also, Minidump https://1drv.ms/u/s!AswPFpE41SKMyClMGkFBiirIqya3?e=oJJQsQ
  6. Just have XMP/DOCP enabled to get the memory at it's rated speed.
  7. AMD Ryzen 9 3900X ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming 32GB Corsair CL16 3200mhz ram Gigabyte RX 5700XT
  8. Was playing SC2 and all of a sudden the screen went black, sound started repeating, RGB froze along with everything else. After about 30 seconds of this my PC just rebooted. Upon logging in again, the system just hung - most everything was responsive in some way, but not completely (could click to different windows and opens apps, but nothing would actually load, windows wouldn't close, programs couldn't be exited in TM). Looking through Event Viewer I saw this, but not sure what it means: A fatal hardware error has occurred. Reported by component: Processor Core Error Source: Machine Check Exception Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error Processor APIC ID: 18 The details view of this entry contains further information. A fatal hardware error has occurred. Reported by component: Processor Core Error Source: Machine Check Exception Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error Processor APIC ID: 0 The details view of this entry contains further information. Any ideas? Attached is Event Viewer System log and Speccy. CPU is not OC'd, DOCP enabled to bring ram to 3200mhz C16-18-18-38 what.evtx speccy.txt
  9. Yeah, the 1.4v on the CPU is confusing. Opening Ryzen Master just shows default as I haven't adjusted anything there, and the BIOS is at default optimized settings with the exception of DOCP enabled for the ram.
  10. I updated bios to 3003 before I reinstalled Windows. I ran Memtest86 overnight, 6 passes 0 errors. Before doing this I did pull out two dimms and replaced them. Although, I may just return the memory altogether and switch to dual channel 2x 16GB instead of 4x 8gb.
  11. I've tried using 3 different graphics drivers (last build, current WHQL and beta), and problem persisted after a fresh Windows install.
  12. New PC build and at random / odd times I've been getting BSODs (usually Memory_Management, but occasionally also irql_not_less_or_equal). I've ran Memtest and Windows Memory Diagnostic and haven't gotten any errors, but I swapped out 2 DIMMs just in case with another set I have. I've tried reinstalling Windows, but I'm not sure what the next step is. I'm gonna leave memtest running overnight tonight to see if longer than 2 hours will throw up errors. I'm not sure what I'm missing - I memtested each individual stick with 2 passes each and they all passed.
