Hello,
Could i get some help here, we went from a Ryzen 1600 to a 3600 and now the computer takes FOREVER to load into windows. I would say it take about 10 mins to load.
Steps i took:
1. Updated bios in the correct steps from F5 to F32 to F40 with EC FW update to F50
2. Installed CPU the Bios does see the chip and all hardware
3. So i restarted and Windows did not want to load and just showed the little dots spinning below AORUS bird symbol and would not load windows. I let it loading for 10 to 20 mins.
4. I did the 3 restart to try and get into safe mode but it just kept at the AORUS screen and windows started to prepare to fix itself, Got to the windows did not shutdown correct screen and all i did was press reset into windows and i got in.
5. I did a couple of restarts, shut downs and the computer booted just fine so i thought i was in the clear so i updated the graphics card drivers to be up to date and it asked for windows to be restarted and i did and now this time it loads up the AORUS bird symbol but again spinning dots and it takes now about 8 to 10 mins to load into windows.
6. I just went to AMD's website and loaded in the most current drivers for the chipset, Also ran a CC cleaner and Driver booster update and after all that once again i had to restart the computer and it again took 10 mins to get into windows.
currently the computer is booting into windows as normal but seems like anything i do windows freaks out.
