  1. when i tested it, i tested each card just long enough to see it post ... i had waterblocks on it and i did not want to have to take them off. I had two bad Riser cables ? One came from Lianli... I had a replacement on on hand and then i ordered a second one... so i have not been able to test SLI as of yet...
  2. your saying running the ram at a lower speed than its rated for when i have a perfectly good lifetime warranty to take advantage of for a more stable pc in the in the end ? i did lower it too 2800 mhz the first time ... i had it running at 3.9 ghz with 3000 mhz .. was working and then it wasnt ...
  3. tested the hdmi cable .. was not the issue... was able to get each of the cards to post without the riser cables... have not been able to get them to post together in sli as that requires me to have riser cables..
  4. So recently I had an NVME get loosed somehow and i got a no boot drive, but i was able to fix that by reseating it. My Pc posted fine no issues ... Then at random, I got no display... I tried plugging in each of my GTX 1070'S one by one with no luck... System literally looks like it is posting fine ...The Vga Light does come on, but then goes off. I am not sure if it is the normal power cycle Vga light or if i have a VGA issue... My cards are Hardlined water cooled, so i would prefer to not drain my loop again, as i had to recently to access my nvme drive and fix it... Both Cards Have Pci Express Risers Both are Watercooled... System was working fine last night and then while i was watching a youtube video display shut off... almost looks like a bad hdmi cable...
  5. yes, that is not when i have issue, but regardless when there is no overclocking at all it was only showing 7.6gb out of 16gb.. the RAM is rated for 3000Mhz.. I was running it at 3000Mhz... pretty straight forward ... The Voltages were set properly...
  6. well i am using over clocking as my test to tell if the ram is functioning or not ... basically my issue is that windows is detecting 7.9 out 16gb installed with no overclock and my system will not post with an overclock right now.. when i replace the ram, it overclocks fine and system runs at 3.8 on the cpu and 3000 mhz on the ram no problem...
  7. i have the dynamic pc-011 .. It is one of my favorite cases ive ever owned and has room for whatever GPU you can find .. I have 2 X GTX 1070 Founders Editions with Plenty of space left over
  8. So ive had 32gb of Geil RGB LUCE and it keeps failing? The caveat is that there is a lifetime warranty, so this is not an issue. I run it at the rated 3000mhz with the correct voltages and everything... This is the second or Third time i have had to ship it back for replacement, in the course of a year and a half or so .... I am more wondering why it keeps failing ? Bad Ram ? The Ram is listed on the compatibility guide for my motherboard.. Also on my MSI Carbon Pro x370 there is no option to sync the RGB on the Ram, when it lists my RAM as compatible? I figured they would have added something in their software for RGB ram ? I am running a 3.8 ghz overclock on Ryzen 7 1700, Ram typically either stayed XMP 2999 mhz (odd) or 3000mhz manually
  9. doubtful...it seems to be the encoder in premiere .. if i export my premiere project file to Media Encoder it works ... If I export through Premiere it does not ? Media Encoder also does it 75% faster.. After Effects also exports project files to Media Encoder Fine and it works... So Idk why Premiere does not like up scaling ?
  10. So when editing i encounter a few issues : Video goes black while editing randomly ? When exporting from 1080p to 4k it crashes regularly various exporting crashes- different encoders .. i cho0se h.264 any ideas?
  11. So i have a 2in1 Wifi/Bluetooth Pci 1x card installed in my pc and the wifi is working but it will not show the bluetooth in task manager and since the wifi is working it means the hardware is functioning. both were working until yesterday ? I need to have bluetooth for my XBOX ONE controller and for my Surround Sound... My gaming is being hindered @ the moment... anyone have any ideas? link to my card below https://www.ebay.com/itm/EDUP-2030Mbps-Wifi-Adapter-Intel-9260-Bluetooth-5-0-Dual-Band-PCI-E-WiFi-Card/324012045155?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 i need to get the proper bluetooth drivers .. windows auto detected them before?
  12. i am not sure ... if i could have put it where it was supposed to go i would have ... it was either have the gpu's vertically mounted or put the distro in the back... i couldn't do both cause i would not have a spot for the second rad!!!
  13. no the fittings were really good ... there were a few of the tubes that i had not 100% bend on to fit perfectly in the fitting and was pulling out with less force than the others so i super glued it and those tubes 2 of the 20 will not come back out ... but the system is leak free and the temps are really good
  14. they make a fully front distro for my case and when i ordered it i thought thats what i was getting, yet it was not...
  15. it is made for this case its just made to go where my back rad is... but since i didn't have space under my gpu's i put the rad in the back and on the top and temps are really good and the distro still looks sick and the fittings aren't leaking..
  16. RIG : MOBO : Msi Carbon Pro Gaming CPU : Ryzen 7 1700 @ 3.9ghz Ram : Currently 16gb of Geil Super Luce @ 3000mhz R.....G.......B ... had to RMA 16gb .. will have 32gb GPU : Gtx 1070 Founders Edition's Plural in SLI @ +220 on the Core and +520 on the memory on both cards NVME SSD : 2TB Saberenth Rocket, 250 gb Muchkin Drive ... NO HDD ALL NVME STORAGE!!! Rad : Dual 360 Rads Case : Lianli PC-011 Dynamic Distro Plate : Barrow for the Lianli PC-011 Dynamic RES AND PUMP are behind the mobo No Cable Management Required Put rgb strips behind 2 of the tubes, will buy more and do them all .. used superglue to attach ... they are 50/50 so the have a rubber outer coating! dont put super glue on RGB strips directly they will short and cause a fire!
  17. bad power plug ... plugged it in a different outlet and it was good to go .... had some tubes that did not want to stay in but i used a little super glue and then put it and now it is solid .. its not coming back out, but i do not think i will have need of taking it out
  18. FINISHED MY LOOP and my pc wont power on ... might of gotten water on something... motherboard probably, going to test it after work
  19. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE ... I am getting good temps with my PC in front of an A/C ... This just on idle but still for a loop with 2 GPU'S OVERCLOCKED 220 core clock and 520 on the memory both GTX 1070'S and CPU 3.9ghz. One Gpu is about 2 to 3 degrees hotter than the other which is not bad.. 2 x 360mm rads ... barrow cpu block with RGB!!! I managed to fix two fans that were damaged.. two of the wires got torn out some how .. they are good fans and the RGB still worked so I fixed them over the weekend with a staple and sauder
  20. So my board is just being weird !!! its works then it doesn't??? i currently have 2 sticks 16gb in at 3000mhz and cpu at 3.9ghz... i am waiting on fittings to come in and i have the tubing already... need fittings and 90, 45, and 180 degree bender tools i ordered ... i ordered everything from China to save money .... so it takes alot longer ... I waited about 3 months for four 90 fittings off ali express... Good thing about fittings is there is not alot there .. its basically orings that cause it to work or fail and as long as the orings are good it should be fine ... I look at how does it work and why and then determine what to buy .... my modded fittings that i made, soft tube to hard tube fittings, 10 are still in my system and leak free... the ones that leaked were missing an o-ring, because home depot ran out of them at the time .... I got BARROW BENDING TOOL https://www.ebay.com/itm/Od-16Mm-Barrow-Acrylic-Pmma-Petg-Hard-Pipe-Bending-Mould-Kit-For-Tube-Comp-O5M4/254590924174?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 16 mm Tubing from Thermaltake 1000 mm so they will be long enough for my bends https://www.ebay.com/itm/Thermaltake-V-Tubler-PETG-Tube-16mm-5-8-OD-1000mm-4-pack/124163833431?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 The proper silcone insert https://www.ebay.com/itm/Silicon-Insert-Thermaltake-OD-16mm-X-ID-12mm-For-ID-12mm-1-2-PETG-Hard-Tube/184297869509?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 These fittings in White ... Which He charged me less on because i originally wanted cheaper ones and He was out of them so I got 20 Fittings for $45 in stead of $60 ... I check and it would have been around $100 for 20 in USA https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-PCS-New-16MM-G1-4-coupling-fitting-OD-16MM-Rigid-tubing-water-cooling-Black/264783868553?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
  21. so here is the issue .. i for sure have one bad stick of ram ... so i will send that back .... when i go install two sticks it will not post ... three of my four posted in single channel one stick.... so process of elimination is : a bad cpu mount : which is what solved it before : a known "RYZEN" specific issue a bad ram slot on my motherboard either dimm 1 or dimm 3 : dual channel will not post Cpu related issue Going to start by getting two fresh sticks of ram, by RMAing the one that is bad, but they require me to send two sticks.. as of right now, I have one 8gb stick in single channel running at 3000mhz and my CPU at 3.9ghz I did the CPU with no ram overclock and then tested each stick one by one in dimm slot4 which is where it needs to be for single channel ... I checked the manual for which sticks go where for single and dual channel .... with no overclock , all four sticks will not run ... could not get 2 or 3 working either ...
  22. i got it for a good deal ... I just needed a board that supported 2 nvme drives and Sli. I am not doing serious 4.2ghz overclocking or anything ... Back to the point at hand .... I need to fix my PC ... If anyone knows how to solve the problem, please share ..
  23. fyi the Asus Rog Strix b450 : Bios Update failed , sold a 130$ board for $40 on craigslist and the guy fixed the bios and has a working board.. Then I bought the same board again .. Then realized I wanted to do SLI and that Strix b450 would not do SLI and so I got the Taichi x370 Which was a good board ... I do not remember why that one failed ?? but i was able to return it .. got it on ebay... Then I got the board which I have now which is my least favorite so far ... I liked the Strix b450 alot!!!! but it did not do SLI
