Hi everyone.
I'm currently looking to build a pc for my parents, since the toaster the have been using the last couple years might explode at any moment. At first I thought of just buying a pre-built (since I have never built a pc before), but I couldn't find any decent one here in Argentina. The psu's they use in "non-gaming" pre-builts here might as well be just a couple of flatened nails tied to a cable...
What I'm looking for isn't that big of a deal. Basically, a pc that can handle windows 10, have maybe 8-10 tabs in chrome, play some youtube videos and microsoft office. No gaming necessary. And... that it would hopefully hold on for like 6 or more years.
I have kind of an idea of what I need but I thought it would be better to ask here if you have any thoughts of what I have. Budget isn't really a problem. Please let me know whether something is lacking.
For now, what I'm planning would be:
- AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
- No GPU
- Motherboard:Gigabyte A320M-S2H AM4
- DDR4 8GB Crucial RAM 2666 MHz
- 240 GB SATA M2 WD green SSD
- PSU: CoolMaster MWE Bronze 500 80+
I would like, mostly thoughts on the PSU.
Thanks in advance!
