  1. Budget (including currency): 250€ Country: Portugal, I can pick Amazon tho Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: FOREX Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I wanted a trading computer that could support 3 monitors.
  2. I am making a new rig for gaming, some extra money would help me a ton (750€) What could I possibly sell from this old laptop?
  3. I have a Samsung Laptop sitting around, the HDD died so I never touched it again. Today I decided to open it up and took off the RAM, can I do something with it? (I have a ROG laptop, pretty sure I can't just stick it in there though).
  4. Hey I'm not sure what CPU to choose for my 2060, the ryzen 5 3600 or the ryzen 7 2700 because the 2700 is 40€ cheaper where I live. Is the 40€ worth for gaming only?
  5. You can use those 100$ to buy whatever is more important to you (storage, memory, etc), the 5700XT is an absolute beast right now for the price. If you want to upgrade it, try to see the price for the 2070 super
  6. oh ok sorry for the late reply what do you think about this one? 7. Do you atleast know what components to choose or are you absolutely new to this?
  8. heyy is it 1200 euros or 1200 serbian dinars (I'm not sure if it's correct but it says its equivalent to 10 euros)?
  9. are you planning on playing with 1080p? 1440p? 2160p?
  10. KFC is for sure a company that I would recommend
  11. I'm going to buy from a popular online store here in Portugal, it comes with 2 years of warranty so I tought it was a great deal
  12. I don't think you got it xd Those GPUs I'm talking about are not the same, both are overclockable Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super Gaming OC Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super OC As you can see, they are different, but the only apparent difference is that one has two fans instead of 3, I wanted to know if there are more differences than that haha
  13. I'm going to buy a 1660 Super, I saw that the price difference between the Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super Gaming OC and the Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super OC is "big" since I found the Gaming OC for 269€ and the OC for 250€ (227€ refurbished) I have two questions: I saw that the regular OC has 2 fans instead of 3. Is that the only difference between those two? I'm not going to play graphic-consuming games, so I don't think overheating will be a problem (I'm probably only going to play Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, GTA V but not anything really demanding) Is buying a refurbished GPU worth it? Because that 23€ difference between the normal one and the refurbished one will help a lot since I'm building a computer right now.
  14. Why would you want to buy an i7-3770? It's from 2012, there's many better options. I would reccomend to you buying a ryzen 5 3600, it's a way cheaper processor but also a really powerful one, take in comparison the i7-3770 with this one: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-3770-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-3600/1979vs4040
  15. Thanks for all the information, the 5700 xt 40€ more expensive in my country, but that's fine, I think that I'm going to save a little more and buy that one then, thank you!
  16. Yeah, it's really weird. That CPU is a beast for the price and should be running games and movies and whatever you want to smoothly. If the problem persists, you should go where you bought your pc or the components to talk about it. Anyways, good luck once again and feel free to ask me anything at any day of the week and I'll be happy to help!
  17. I mean, you don't have anything to lose so why not haha Yeah, you can try to install 7, if it gets better upgrade to 10 again and see if it fixes the problem. If it still lags on 10, keep windows 7 (even though it's really outdated and doesn't receive anymore support)
  18. oh that's not the memory then, even if you had no memory, the whole computer wouldn't just lag. Have you made sure it's not a virus? Try to run an antivirus check with malwarebytes or something like that In a extreme case, you can try to format your computer, if it's still laggy, It's probably the CPU
  19. By the way, we didn't clear this up. What's this "lagging"? Does the computer become unresponsive and takes time to act or is it literally lagging?
  20. Warranty doesn't bother me too much actually haha I'm referencing the EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER SC ULTRA GAMING, I was thinking on buying the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER GAMING OC until I saw the EVGA one
  21. The EVGA Geforce GTX 1660 Super is probably the cheapest 1660 super variant in the market, but is it really that worse than the Gigabyte or the MSI ones? I'm asking because I'm thinking on buying a 1660 super and seeing all those different prices (EVGA 1660 Super can be bought for 230€ while Gigabyte or MSI can be up to 50€ more expensive) confuses me a lot.
  22. I know, but I never had to reach out to the customer service, that's why I said I already had trust with them haha I'm comparing it with the Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super Gaming OC

    Monitor Purchase

Heyy For the first week, you MIGHT notice a difference, it's absolutely normal, after all, you are used to 5k. I'm pretty sure that after 2 months or so you won't even notice that you are using 4k. Anyways, I hope that you won't notice much of a difference haha, good luck
  24. I'm looking for a new graphics card and I have my eyes set on the 1660 super, but I saw that the price difference between the MSI and the Gigabyte variants are big (around 30€ or even 40€ in some cases). I was going to buy the MSI one first because I was also going to buy an MSI motherboard and I already have trust with the company, still, seeing a gigabyte 1660 super for 249€ when I am going to buy the MSI one for 280€ really made me think again. Is there any advantage that can explain the price difference between those two? Because those 30€ would help me to upgrade my PSU to 450W or 500W
