  1. The minimum size I'd like to start with is 32TB. My Plex library is 6TB and growing constantly but the big storage problem is the GoPro footage. I run get about 500GB of raw footage per weekend which is then edited and uploaded to YT. So far I have just over 8TB of data in total.
  2. I could potentially pick up a pair of Dell MD3220s at auction in about a week for a good price. Would these be a good choice for my first NAS. These are empty but there are several lots of drives up for auction too. Is there anything I should know before I bid or is this just not a good choice for a home NAS. Planning on using primarily for PLEX and GoPro storage from my races.
  3. OK, is anyone else having problems with CPU WU uploads. I just updated to the latest version and I'm about to go back because it keeps hanging up. I have 4 WUs stuck on my second client right now. The failing server is 130.237.11.145:80 also failing port 8080.
  4. I want to do a full in-wall and in-ceiling surround. I haven't decided yet if I want to go with 7.1 or 5.1.4 but the real question here is what do all of you think about these speakers? Klipsch CDT-5650-C II In-Ceiling Speaker Klipsch R-5650-S II In-Wall Speaker The room is 16' x 21' with an 8' ceiling and seating is 8' from the back of the room. I'm trying to keep this within a reasonable budget and already have a sub and amp.
  5. Rip-it is the ultimate in energy drinks. Anyone who deployed to the sand box should know.
  6. Sleep is for peasants! The most interesting days happen when you are fueled by caffeine, sugar and sleep deprivation. In reality, I just function best at 6 hours a night and have a healthy diet. Racing is very physical and requires peak fitness and endurance.
  7. Thanks for the compliment. Not too bad yourself. I owned lots of sportbikes, 3 Aprilias.

I just started racing 3 years ago and absolutely love it. Started on a 01 SV650 and have the 08 R6 now.

  8. I opted for this route because I'm not necessarily chasing points, particularly on CPU WUs, and at times I want to have more cores available for what I am working on. At night and while I'm at work both do their thing and when I get home I set the one finishing soonest to finish. I appreciate the input on maximizing PPD on the CPU.
  9. Did some more playing around with OC on the 2080 S and the CPU. I ran 3 WU at 8 threads each for a bit but decided to save 4 of them for background stuff by running 2 at 10 each.
  10. Sorry if this has been answered before but what is this software you are using? Never seen it before.
  11. Got some time to play tonight after moving to a new case with better cooling. Managed a run of 7688 @ 4.4GHz and 1.375v. Temp stayed at 88c for the full run.
  12. Got some time to play around a little more and push higher. 7520 @ 4.4GHz 1.325v Temps maxed at 70 on a single run
  13. I have my wife's computer folding now too but for some reason I can't get it to connect when I add it to the client list, apparently I'm missing something.
